Believe me. They are I-Kiribati. I can tell by studying their moves as they respond to the lyrics. Only those who understand the words would synchronize their moves like they did.

graceful dancers with good coordination...the song used Kiribati words with deep meanings. it even mentioned about the names of the Gods...great song!

+Betty Iosua :) 1000 German Thanks, Hugs and Kisses from Panama-City/Panama Now I need the lyrics and if possible the meaning in english.
Then I can sing that most charming song by myself.
Yes I will sing this in Kiribati language! Yep! Absolutely, ... if i have the information.

+Volker410 no problem and about the lyrics :D I'll try to write them up or find help somewhere cos they are pretty tricky :D but yeah no problem :) stay tuned!

+Betty Iosua If you can manage to write the lyrics down, I will sing it. Using my Ukulele or the Guitar ... you will see! I will do that!
As a German I spell the letters anyway not with an special pronunciation like the english speakers. Maybe in Kiribati language it's the same easy in pronunciation, ... what would simplify the process to write it down.

aueeee....Kiribati people dance other cultural dances....dont they??? they dont do it well but they dance it right...like Samoan sivas and all....so what makes your dane any different?? other ethnic group will try but will obviously not dance it like proper i Kiribati...ea roko tain te ota neiko...e taekinaki ba te maien Kiribati because the music is Kiribati....but dancers are entitled to interpret it in their own way....oilei

It's Kiribati 🇰🇮 song and music. The girls might be half kiribati. It's good that they are learning to dance with Kiribati music.

Relax Taatei, its commercialization ,money, its for the tourists and
entertainment arena. Hence the extremely pretty dancers, flash
      costumes,and jazzy moves. (i believe they're Tahitian).

    • @tekaobowainwright3302

Lol now we know what Hawaiians and Tahitians feel like when they see others butchering their cultural dance. In all honesty tho, they did a pretty good job.
