I think the weapon switch reload bug is in every GTA game, at this point it's basically a feature.
Similarly to how switching or unequipping and re-equipping weapons in MGS games does the same.
To be fair, what are you supposed to do?
Sure having a change weapon time is fine, but surely it’d take longer to change to a rocket launcher than a dildo

@@Amainville93 That's literally a feature though, the manual refers to it as "tactical reloading" and some Codec calls also tell you how to do it.

Probably that dying animation was meant for enemy npcs, beacause they can keep shooting you while bleeding out
But Rocks decided it'd be a good idea to enable the exact same animation for the civillian npcs
I'd assume they animated for cops and enemies but either didn't disable it on NPC's that lack guns or couldn't disable it for whatever reason

Because cops and generally hostile npcs die like civillians if the script checking for a target fails to find one

The armor pick ups are the super light armor. The reason they look different in the game is because that’s the back of the armor you’re looking at whereas the one from Ammunation is the front

most likely a coincidence since when falling from super high up your character tends to do a tornado maneuver regardless of if you have a gun or not

The C4 being loud reminds me of the DSR-1 double-mag sniper from GTA TBoGT being the loudest in the game, souding like a thunderbolt, being heard even when fired in the yard of the abandoned casino while being on the Francis international airport's runway. I used to do this in multirplayer to scare anyone who joined (If there was someone to play with)

@@the_splits2360 singleplayer works just fine, but online has been nuked on PC unfortunately, so there's just the console versions left to play online on (which I've done on my xbox one x with my physical xbox 360 copies of the games... they're in the backwards compatible list)

the buzzard's rocket explosions were also super loud, you could hear them from downtown algonquin while the explosions were happening at the airport

My friend used to rob convenience stores with an empty gun when he started playing online.
That's how bad he was doing on release.
The amount of glitches this game has that I NEVER encountered during 2 playthroughs is simply phenomenal.

The first fact is just great game design IMO - being able to hear the sticky go off no matter where you are lets you know that it actually went off, and also gives you a feeling of power - "I can strike you down with the press of a button on the other side of the world"

The special finishes on guns probably don't show on cutscenes because unlike all other modifications available in single player, they were added in a later update.
Thrown grenades don't have their pins pulled because the thrown grenade uses a lower quality model than the one remade for the remastered release, particularly the first person animation. I imagine if you throw it in third person the pin stays on the model.
Pipe Bomb has broken first person animations when walking/running, it's especially noticable in the player shadow or when you compare it to other grenades in the game
Combat PDW has broken decals since some patch
Heavy Sniper has a broken Vom Feuer decal since some patch
Bolt doesn't move on Carbine Rifle Mk 2 and Combat MG Mk 2

10:55 This one I've actually known about back when I did play GTA. In online, you can do the vehicle imports/exports with a warehouse. Part of the challenge is delivering stolen vehicles while sustaining as little damage to the car as possible. If you unarmed ADS a window, you roll the window down, and then can swap to a fun to shoot enemies. If you ADS with a gun first, you break open the window, adding a cost to repair the car window when it is delivered.

Vice City: 80's
San Andreas: 90's
GTA4: 00's
GTAV: 10's.
The reason we haven't gotten GTA6 yet is because the only place to go is the 2020's, and those have just started. R* tried to jump the gun and released GTAV in 2013, which resulted the jokes became outdated *super* quick as 10's culture moved on, so they'll probably wait a bit longer for the next one.
Also, the reason GTA3 isn't included is because it was made (although not released) before 9/11, which entirely changed the American zeitgeist. Again, they went back in time to let the changes play out so they could see how things would look before writing their satire.

Probably has to do with rocket physics and not really somthing that has a easy fix and it really doesn't come up so is it even worth fixing

@@ofwje yes. the code the game uses to imitate how rockets work. people use "physics" to describe many ways in which objects in games behave.
it pains me to admit that in my over 1k hours of gta, primarily flying jets and helis i did not know about changing target, this changes EVERYTHING. thanks alot matto, this is why this serious is perfect

iv always found it ridiculous that a punch from a pistol is instant kill but melee weapons require more than on hit to kill
pistol also has the fastest melee swing
in Online, the Stone Hatchet is always an instant kill, plus its ability gives you a power similar to Trevor's story mode ability

I'd honestly say the gate speed changing when you have a weapon out, was most likely supposed to have an animation where the gate is kicked open. I've noticed the speed change with other doors/gates in Online and I always wondered why it didn't have an animation to it. Like that has to be on purpose idk how they could mess up the speed of it just because there's a weapon out.

Fun fact about exploding sticky bombs that are thrown out of the car. The explosion sound you hear is actually the sound barrier being broken due to how fast the characters arm had to be moving

Theres also the revolver glitch that can still be made in online to this day, where it makes your revolver shoot like a minigun for a period of time, but its the most devasatating weapon ive ever used.
Another fun fact: most automatic weapons actually fire slower then they sound (for instance, when you hear firing two shots from carbine rifle, you actually fire one)
All automatic weapons are like this I think. The recoil and projectile visuals don't even match the sound. Shit game design really

Funnily, if you have a melee weapon equipped [any works, but longer ones like the golf club have an advantage on it] if you look away from your ally, swing the weapon and then face them as it swings, you can hit your allies and also hurt them, opposed to bullets just "hitting". It leads to some funny moments. At least in PS3 it was possible, don't know if PS4/PS5 got changed.

Only 'Um actually' I have is when using a weapon to rob a store, if they hear the click of no ammo [ eg, no suppressor ] then they will fight back. While the click of an empty weapon is no different with or without a suppressor, the game logic sense of noise means "naked' = thors hammer, 'suppressed' = barely a grass blade upon a swimming pool of water, two states over.

That's not the case i̶n̶ ̶G̶T̶A̶ ̶O̶n̶l̶i̶n̶e̶ with laser weapons where the b̶u̶l̶l̶e̶t̶s̶ lazers do actually come out of the nozzle and would hit the obstructing object in that scenario.
You are wrong there, that still happens in online, with my over 5k hours of purely online mainly pvp i can tell you that is still a thing and people use it to corner peek and is annoying af

I’ve definitely seen people shooting around corners with miniguns before. It’s not as easy on Online, and a large part of it is how far to the right the minigun muzzle is versus the character, but still exploitable.

Should do this video but for online, There's some differences like for example robbing a store with no ammo can cause the cashier to pull out a gun, and you can also get more damage out of 5 C4 if you shoot them if they are close together or stacked.
