The Legendary Turtle Opinions are still a thing, right? I like Slade, but I will always prefer Adrian. Slade was primarily a physical threat to Oliver, like Malcolm or Darhk. But Prometheus was a psychological villain. Yes, he could hold his own in a fight, but that's not his speciality. I feel Slade would have been more compelling, if he had actually go insane after the death of Shado. Instead it was a Mirikuru side effect, which just didn't feel right for me.

Nothing comes close to s1 and s2 for me.
God what a casting Josh Segarra was. Never heard of this guy before but he's one of the best Arrowverse casting. He manages to be every bit as intimidating and sadistic as Slade, but also funny and charasmatic. Best Arrowverse villains.
+Zakariya Ahmed Emergency Awesome/Charlie (a channel who reviews this on CZcams) said the writers didn't show that scene because the shot would have been too brutal & gory for the series' standards. +ThatWrestlingGuy *Deathstroke* is another of the greatest villains but he just wanted to conquer Star City and was half-mentally insane at the time. *Prometheus* wanted to make a misery out of *Oliver* 's life even to the endpoint of killing himself (which no other villain has done) just to make sure he could somewhat deprive him of everyone he loved. Of course, don't judge me because it's just my opinion while I respect yours.
The fact that Adrian continued with his plan to destroy Oliver's life anyway tells me he already knew that his dad Justin Claybourne was going to disown him and decided to just break Oliver for kicks now that his excuse for and his way of justifying his evil actions was out of the way. Either that or it actually did come as a shock to him but he still managed to work it into his plan to get caught knowing that he'd kidnapped William beforehand which would force Oliver to break him out so he could start the final part of his plan by kidnapping Oliver's allies and taking them to the bomb covered Lian Yu planning to either make Oliver kill him or Adrian would kill himself not caring whether he died or not as long as Oliver's friends, allies and loved ones died too making Oliver suffer even more. Adrian killed innocent people as Prometheus for kicks and only used Oliver killing his dad as an excuse. He was an evil psycho even when Claybourne was still alive and would still have been one even if Oliver hadn't killed Claybourne.
I wouldn't be surprised. He probably inherited his craziness from his mother Amanda Westfield who justified his actions by saying he was doing them because he was scared.

I think because he stole the identity of the real Adrian Chase, a legit clean lawyer, and Morrison blackmailed/bribed him to stay silent. Could be Vigilante
I have a theory that the real reason he wanted to destroy Oliver's life was because Simon / Adrian wanted to kill his dad himself. IMO he already knew that Claybourne had wanted to disown him given that he continued with his plan against Oliver even after he was told that which suggests to me that the real reason he was pissed at Oliver for killing his dad is because he wanted to kill Claybourne himself for disowning him and Oliver took that chance away from him by killing Claybourne so he wanted revenge on Oliver for taking away his chance for revenge on his dad and he only pretended he loved his dad and wanted to avenge him by destroying Oliver's life to justify his actions. If Claybourne hadn't wanted a psychopath for a son he shouldn't have slept with a woman who was completely nuts. Old Justin should have remembered the old saying "Never stick your dick in crazy." A son like Simon would have been bad for the "legitimate businessman" act Claybourne was putting on which was why he wanted to disown him.

Therefore everything Oliver learned from Yao Fei, Chase would've learned from Talia. *Slade* - Slade isn't League trained, but everything he taught Oliver was basic (basic self defense, hand to hand combat, stick fighting, etc) since Oliver couldn't fight at all at the time. *Shado* - Trained by Yao Fei. Who was trained by Talia. *Ras Al Ghul* - The one who taught Talia. So it basically went Ras -> Talia -> Oliver and then Ras -> Oliver. So everything Oliver learned from Ras, Chase could've learned from Talia.

So which do think Prometheus is? But before you answer, go look up what the actual definitions for insane and psychopath cause they’re quite different from what you might think and then give me and answer.
