For many reasons…to me…this is our most important #1 of my entire career. We were under attack from many angles. The haters were out in full force. I bit my tongue…and bit my tongue…and bit it some more. Ultimately…all the negativity is what birthed “God Mode”.
This song is the most literal example of turning a negative into a positive that I can think of.

It's definitely fact, When the Brave 2 dropped, it was projected to land number one on five different billboards charts. Come that Tuesday when the charts were supposed to come out, all five of those had been removed and discontinued. You can call it coincidence, but I don't think so.

Honestly, I feel like the biggest diss Tom can give to the people coming at him is to ignore them. They want to use him to make themselves bigger, but if he doesn't respond, it says they aren't important enough to bother with.
You stopped the video and didn't rewind 5 seconds so you missed why he said he wouldnt do disses anymore. He said the guy lost his career and got a divorce. Its when Tom Exposed Mac Lethal using drugs and sleeping with another guy's girlfriend, and Mac was married at the time.
Now, while I think Mac Lethal is a piece of shit and deserved it, he also had little girl. I think from Tom's perspective the person who got hurt the most was that little girl who was too young to understand. All she knew was she saw her mom ho through pain, her mom and dad wasn't together, and she had to split time between the two. Again Mac deserved it but that little girl doesn't, and even if Mac is a piece of shit the best situation for the daughter is her parents being together. Tom is about bringing people together not destroying them.
There's a lot of people who say they don't give a shit, they only care about the disses for entertainment. These people aren't intelligent enough to hear what Tom said about internet wanting rappers going to war, have never been in long relationships or can't think about having their own kids and lising their family, or have no souls to not think about a little kid having to pay for a diss battle.

By putting Tom's name in his mouth, he knew it would put more eyes on him. It worked but he also lost a lot of fans that are also fans of Tom. It's a damn shame, because Ryan is incredibly talented, and I still enjoy a lot of his music. But I am no longer interested in anything he has to offer anymore.

@@FTBREACTS He really did. I've reacted to this song two different times lol. One on my channel and then one on our group podcast channel. I've watched at least 50 reactions, and I've played this song on repeat just to catch all the bars and understand all the emotions. This is definitely a work of art, and in my opinion some of his best lyrical work he's ever done. The beat was fired too. I tell you it gets better the more I listen to it lol - there must be some kind of subliminal crack in this song because I literally have had it on repeat since it came out lol - I knew it was coming for a while now, and after the Upchurch drama, I knew he was gonna put that energy into a song lol.

Tom was talking about the beef with Mac Lethal (Dave). He started a back and forth with Tom on social media, talking crap about Tom but then backpedaled. Tom asked HOG if he should diss the guy. So he put out a light smack of a diss as bait. He was really just clowning around. After Dave responded, HOG went after him because he dissed us. We brought the guy down, and he took down his YT channel. Tom felt terrible about that. #hogarmy

But this desire of boys to see guys fight is immature. If it was a real competition like a battle rap...ok But this was not that. 2. C'mon man! You know exactly who he is talking too that got him mad, for you were swept up in it when you did the right thing for calling him out for using the n word. I am going to give a perspective coming from a seasoned white man. The notion of some that it doesn't matter, including non white folk, doesn't matter. What matters is the opinion of the culture and society as a whole. Church being a southerner, and Creek Squad by his supporters, know doubly to be a southern white man displaying the Confederate flag is a no no. Me being a white man, having to defend myself and say I'm not racist makes it very difficult because they will point to Church as the example. There are times that you do need to check yourself as to what is acceptable behavior. We don't need to throw gasoline on an already heated conversation. And Church was not using as bros do when referencing to each other. Proof that this was personal from the beginning, not a battle, is that Church started doing shorts for 9 months before he decides to drop the diss in the middle of Tim's biggest song and vid. Than he kept going and doing shorts attacking Tom up to 4 times a day for awhile, Than he drops another diss within a week. Now he has dropped a third one just after this. Tom is living in Ryan's head, and it doesn't matter how often Tom respond, Church will never let him have the last word. And most of what Ryan was saying were petty or outright lies. Tom's mission is larger than proving he is the best lyricist. You said it yourself, though let me articulate it. I have watched you, but Tom longer. I have watched him have the same effect he has had on YOU, on other reactors. Many who liked Tom, but questioned some of Tom's truths. Happens alot. Than the amazing thing occurred. Over time, Tom's songs caused many to start doing their own research and investigating social and political narratives, and found out that much of what they believed that they received in school, the media, or in their community were not the truth. Than they, at least 15-20 reactors, quit doing music reactions and started doing political and media commentary, showing how much of it was fake, or showing parts completely left out. They were censoring info to drive certain narratives. My man, you know that alone means more in it's weight in gold than any benefit from diss tracks. Additionally, you being a reactor, you know from your comments the amount of people Tom has helped with dealing with sickness, mental illness, addictions and heartache. You see the positive in his family. Church is willing to attack that instead of honor it. These are distractions from what i believe is God's purpose for Tom. When no one else was willing to call out obvious wrongs by the music industry, the charts ignoring independent artist, promotion of drugs and criminal activity to our youth, the demeaning of women, who took that chance and has had the hate and attempts to cancel him since his first viral DEAR RAPPERS. Say his name, taking a line from Breaking Bad. I believe that Tom was a vessel of God for such a time as this. In a country founded upon the right given by God of free speech, in a time of censorship and cancel culture, people being silent to speak their minds in fear of losing Everything. One artist of the rap community, unapologetic and unafraid, had the balls to say what many thought but were to afraid to say. Say his name! Tom MacDonald is his name. And his purpose and mission is greater in the public good than to get sidetracked in petty personal beefs. And that is why Tom is the G.O.A.T. Period. Love you man.

As you said, there's a time for humble and a time for flexing. It seems inevitable that the kinds of people who like to start shit view things like Humility and Kindness and Compassion as Weakness. They push and the push and eventually the make that humble and kind and compassionate person{s} show them how those are really Strengths. Tom is a divine messenger. I say divine because i dont know to which, if any, belief system any of you subscribe to. I don't think any specific one matters in this. I think he was made for this moment, when it feels like the soul of our race (humanity) is in more danger than it has been in a long time. Our bastions of freedom are under attack from subversives inside and out and its starting to feel like it might be time to stop being humble and kind.
When someone talks about things that are important instead how many hoes you have, how much money you have, how many chains you have, and who they are better than ---- I guess people dont like it.

Songs like "The Machine", or "Snowflakes" would scare the shit out of another rapper to even consider doing. Why the hell would he give rappers much smaller than him the clout they're chasing by calling them out by name? Makes no sense. You think mainstream rappers respond to every diss they get by unknown rappers trying to climb up the ladder? No, man. If someone on Tom's level comes at him, maybe he'll respond but he's not going to elevate some weak rapper hating on him for views. He can prove his talent and respond like this without giving them any juice. And a lot of rappers who have been hating on him for years because they thought dissing him would get them credit are now copying him because they see his success and want it for themselves. But it will never work for them because they aren't genuine. They're just saying whatever they think will help their careers. We see them for the fakes they are. He's helped a lot of rappers who treat him with respect but he's not going to give a hand up to those who have tried stirring up hate for him with lies and false rumors. Yes, rap is a competitive sport but you don't waste your time and energy on those below you on the ladder. You compete by taking out everybody above you. And look at Tom's numbers. He's climbing that ladder every single day. So much so that Billboard is messing with the charts to try to hold him back. Believe what you want to believe, but if you think the mainstream wouldn't do something like that to keep control of the narrative, you haven't woken all the way up yet. .
