Beautiful! I learned many of these amazing tips over 40 years ago when I lived with my aunt in Costa Rica. She enjoyed paging through fashion magazines, sewing and making her niece look and feel not only beautiful, but happy with my appearance and confident about the way I dressed. She had no daughters, so I was her model. She enjoyed dressing me up and teaching me all about fashion. She knew what was chic and what was not so chic. She was beautiful, authentic, caring and amazing, and I have never lost the lessons and values she instilled in me.
All my life, people have complimented my style. Some asked if I was a model; others asked where I bought my clothes. I’d smile and thank them. It made me feel good, as it should.
You remind me of my aunt, and are an amazing young lady! You’re bringing such a helpful inspiring message that is really going to have an impact on thousands of lives.
Not every young lady is privileged to learn the six tips that you shared. Many young women are living in unfortunate circumstances where they don’t have a mentor to show them what is chic and what is not! I know many and I feel honored to share your message. Thanks again!

I have to tell you, the structured bag was a GAME CHANGER. Last time I went shopping I grabbed a structured bag and held it up against my outfit in the mirror and was simply SHOCKED at how it elevated my whole look! Now when I go thrifting I look for structured bags to add to my wardrobe. Thank you!

I think hoops could be substituted with diamond studs or perls. Obviously it doesn't need to be real diamonds😉. I am currently absolutely in love with them. They can be round or square, big or small, whatever I'm in the mood for. For a long time, I didn't like the way hoops made me feel and now that it's getting better, I still prefer big, very thin ones... I do agree they are classy... But I do think perls and 'diamonds' belong to the same category.

I think more broadly having a classic but catching earring which works for you is more ideal. This video seems more tailored to her own tastes vs. something more widely applicable. I love most of your ideas, however the high ponytail doesn't work with everyone's hair or hairline. Perhaps as use "high ponytail" as an example of "casual up do". (Also, I remember I gave up high ponytails because they often gave me headaches.) For a "casual up do", I prefer hair sticks. You can find well made hair sticks at t variety of price points. You can use sticks in a variety of ways. I have fine hair which means most hair ornaments do not stay in. However by inserting the sticks when my hair was slightly damp, the sticks stayed in place all day. Then I loved just pulling the sticks and shaking my head to have my hair cascade down in a soft wave. Because the chignon or twist I held in place with sticks was close to my head, I did not get headaches for the hair pulling on my temples.

Try hair clips with a base of moveable metal. I only bear them in my hair. The upside can be anything fitting to what you wear, but the clip itself holds my hair without pulling it, the moveable part keeps it in its place like a spring without sliding down.

    • @whiskerbiscuit6209

@@Paulina-ku3pe not necessarily. Mine are acrylic and only 5 inches long but i had them custom cut to that because my hair is fine and i use it for work. I dont want fancy ultra long sticks but its the users preference. I found stick styles on CZcams searching stuff for long hair.

Im finishing college so I started to fix my closet (i had clothes from when i was in school so yeah) and I followed the lists they give at first but what's staple for some, is not really for others, i got the white button up and white tshirt and NEVER wear that, but i also got flowy orange pants and a stripped beatle and dude, staples, i use them with everything, is crazy how as you discover your style, you start to see your "own" closet staples

I used to dress like you and then I smashed up my knee in a car accident years ago and exercise is painful since. Sigh. I'm now very overweight, I can't wear anything but flats and I envy you your style. It's just not the same dressing an overweight body. I'm not saying you should cater to bigger women, just that I'm envious of your youth and good figure. Never take it for granted. And never say, as you get older, "it's only 5 pounds, I'll take that off easily" It's really not easy to take off. Have a wonderful day.💗

@@speaktruth9313 No. If anything, my blood pressure is on the low side. But I have a lot of pain from injuries, even after decades.

Building your outfit from bottom to top is such a good idea in general actually. One generally has less shoes than bottoms, less bottoms than tops, and less tops than accessories, so you can start with the most restrictive part. Shoes in my experience always have to be at the same time comfortable, suitable for the weather and fit for the occasion, which leads to very poor variety in my closet.

Sometimes for me I feel like a certain pair of shoes. Maybe my crisp white new sneakers or if I know it will rain then my Dr Martens. That way, I can go "oh these boots with black jeans ok what colour do I want to add on top? Ah I feel like green today ok let's pick one of my green tops I think the cosy soft striped one"
