BATTLE OF THE BEAT MAKERS (BBM for short) is an annual global producer competition! Music producers from all around the world register in hopes of stealing the show and become one of its famed champions!
There's a very prestigious list of champions who have gone on to achieve major success in the music industry. From Multi-Platinum to Diamond selling and even Grammy-Award winning producers! Because of this, the competition has gone on to be recognized globally by music professionals as a launching pad for many talented producer's music careers. Some of your favorite producers started their careers here.

I've been watching this competition since 2015 and now here we are in 2020 me in the kitchen cooking so many different flavor. When I first heard UNKWN beat I knew he was the winner because his beats did not sound like others. So 2022 Im bringing something so unique and that the judges will be surprised. same is boring guys be different. CONGRATS UNKWN you've earned the competition with your uniqueness.

@Tim Winchester With skills like his he can easily make a basic trap beat that artists pick. Most producers just never get past the beginner stage and flood the radio with generic sounds. UNKWN has a good understanding of music and that's why he won. I'm glad the judges went smart with their choice.

His beat was super clean and finished--like an artist could just hop on it and it'd be a hit. Unknown and Cino had more of a "look at all this cool shit I can do" mentality in their beats but Paal could pack that shit up and bring it to an artist right then and there.

@@cino3004 Bruh, that beat at 28:35 was way too cold for the judges to understand or appreciate it. That's that Westcoast Connection/Mack10 style beat. That gansta sh!-t lol. Your second beat selection was not a great choice in my opinion. The first beat was hard enough to earn you a round 3, very easily. The judges fell for the shiny object Unknwn was slapping them with lol.
Simply put:
- Your #1 beat > unknwn's #1 beat (and definitely his #2 beat)
- Your #2 beat < Unknwn's #2 beat
Therefore, an automatic round 3 was needed.

I hope they can come up with a better way to judge in the future. It felt like the judges relied on each other too much for the closer battles throughout the entire competition. It defeats the purpose of having multiple judges if they just follow each other's lead instead of picking a beat for themselves. Still, I'm looking forward to future events... this is pretty dope.

The MC also pressured them quite a bit. I do think the judges should have to privately select their winner and then show the results so they don't end up selecting from peer pressure
I think they should split the judges where they have no contact change the cards to a number light or something
Unkwn's Musicality, Music composition, music theory, Sound Design, id probably also guess time making music was much deeper and longer than many of these guys. how do i know that? go ask 90% of these guys to remake something similar to 90% of unknwn's stuff they'd have a warm time. Guys who make experimental electric / hip hop have volumes more to learn than sampling, hard hitting drums, good chords and a melody. Making it in that genre is difficult because the music has to be inherently outrageously musical in so many ways to thrive. Just listen to Unkwn's music i thought some were too Complex to be called solely beats but they clearly showed the caliber of his music, it borderline sounds like some pro musicians concert music. Every type of music has a lane but many of these guys wouldn't stand a chance against someone who can write more complex musical stories. Many good producers i wish fame and fortune upon and congrats to Unkwn

The difference in mixing and mastering between CINO & UNKWN is crazy I think! After Cino is very good :) But from the 1st sounds of the very first battles UNKWN killed the game, the guy signed on the labels of UZ "Quality Goods Records" and other labels ... Bravo to all the beatmaker this season was top I give my point to (QUESTION & B52 for this year)
Nicolas Bellec yeah he took 7 months and a lot of prep time, I wasn’t even supposed to be in the battle I got the notice a week before the competition but no excuse I should have those beats mix mastered better even before hand
