I'm a total noob so take this for what you will, I got this call & have three times seen deer up close & had them leave visual sight then just did one or two doe bleats or fawn calls & either one will bring them back for a second look. So that's three time's I was given a second opportunity, if they were legal deer & if I was using a gun each one would have been another opportunity for a kill shot. My neighbor said I shouldn't be calling in September at all but that being said we have these three cases plus I've used it twice to just see if anything was in the area, again both times it brought something up & out to look & if I was using a rifle again it would have been a kill shot. Now if I use the buck call it seems to push things away not nearly the same response. Oh wait! I forgot we called in a doe on accident to the car trying to see if we could pull some bears in, we were using the fawn call that time & literally we go to leave after the bears don't seem to be coming back out & then pow there is a doe quickly trotting in our direction. It works

hunting is all about taking what you have learned and applying it. there is no "one answer" to anything. If something works for you that's great. However, if you are hunting for mythical bucks, they are much smarter. it's pretty easy to call any young deer in, as they are naturally pretty curious. Most mature monster bucks are pretty smart though so depending on where you live seasonally September might not be a great time to call depending on your rut.

What if you hunt from a ground blind and not a tree stand should you call or not if you have deer around you. Like if a deer is straight in front of me and if I turn the call to the left or right will that deer pick up on where I am?

Greg Bosell Jr i ground blind hunt and you have to use caution, if the dear our bent over eating or walking if u turn the call u can get away with it l, if there looking around they will walk strait towards you or your blind. Take that as you will only my experience

Very interesting. This man can talk to deer and been doing it all his life. I just want to know one thing. Are the deer talking back to him? Said something to my cat the other day, and it talked to me. What did it say? It said, Meow Meow. I guess that makes me okay right. lol

My favorite part so far is at 2:15....hahaha....yeah like I will kill that crazy lady that keeps ruining my hunts! been there! In fact I am there right now....she busted me 2x and now she creeps around looking for me. It is cat and mouse and she is harder to kill than any other deer there.
