Boy it was embarrassing watching my Penguins get bounced by the Habs last year but I am really enjoying seeing MTL this year! They really have something special going for them with Carey the Price is right and just a nice team chemistry all around. Looking forward to the next series as everyone else is!
Some fun facts for my fellow stat nerds: A team being swept the round after sweeping has happened 3 times in the last 3 years(this, and back to back in 2019 when the Bruins swept the Canes who swept the Islanders who swept the Pens). The previous time before this was 93 when the Canadiens swept the Sabres who swept the Bruins. Crazy how there was a 25 year gap between occurrences and now suddenly it's happened 3 times.
It's because life doesn't make any sense. It really doesn't. Life is confusing and unfair. The universe is under no obligation to make sense. And man does it ever stay true to that..

When we were down 3-1 against Toronto I still had faith, and now that we actually managed to sweep the Jets I'm extremely surprised by this team. We barely made the playoffs by 4 points and are now the first team to make the 3rd round. The lowest ranked team of the north are now the kings of the north, hopefully they keep this momentum.

What's more: They're on the verge of setting an NHL record of total time without losing in the Playoffs (in minutes and seconds). Their current mark is 437 minutes and 53 seconds The record is 488:38, set by themselves 60 years ago
