It continued right up until the end of the 1960’s while the show was carried in so many places, including Chicago where the last Bozo the Clown ran on WGN-TV and continued through the 1990’s.
@HK WGN was a Superstation for many years, which meant it was a local area station (Chicago in this case) that was carried nationwide on cable and satellite. Sadly, they ceased being a superstation back in 2014 and came to an end this year (being replaced with a news channel called NewsNation).
