A predictable result. We used to buy top players under Roman, players who could do a great job . Now we buy average and inexperienced players who make multiple mistakes per game. We are a mid table team who can only compete with mid table teams. And worse, the owners don’t seem to care.
Many of the young stars we have bought aren’t good enough to play and don’t look like money making opportunities. So the strategy seems to be failing . Maybe we will have a good team in five years and maybe not.

This is the point exactly…the players are not well coached. If Liverpool have a midfield of Caicedo and Enzo under Klopp, they will stroll their way to the title. The obvious difference is coaching. Poch for me is tactically inept even though the players can take part of the blame but then the coach’s mentality is that of a defeatist, no winning mentality whatsoever.

We were getting our ass pressed the whole game, the team is playing a high line without pressing the Liverpool’s CB’s which is suicidal, not to mentioned relying on Gallagher as a pivot 10 to kickstart our counterattacks is a crime in itself cuz the lad couldn’t control the ball or making the right decisions on the half turn. Instead of putting Palmer as a 10 which is his natural position and playing a ST upfront, we’re stuck with playing Palmer as a false 9 while sticking Galladog at the No.10 role and we paid for it big time.

Poch has not only played people out of position this whole season but has not built the team around the 200M midfielders but instead around a high line press based around gallagher which is a horrid idea and the reason why i firmly believe that a better coach gets WAY more out of this team

Jota's foot was stepped on, clear penalty. That said, those two fouls should have been penalties for Chelsea too. Good on you for being gracious enough to admit even had VAR done their jobs, Liverpool deserved to win. That was the best pressing I've seen Liverpool play this season and the best passing I've seen the past 3+ seasons. We were lucky to escape with a draw at Stamford Bridge, but we were better this time round.

I think the ref rattled us, the Van Dijk knee early on was defo a Pen if he gave the Liverpool one. Ref seemed to give Liverpool the rub of the green with every advantage in the first half where we were served up x4 yellow cards alone. So he defo put us in our shells. The trick with going against CBs like VDV and Konate is that you don't have them be static, the ball has to move quickly and that movement gives the 9s the space to move into. Chelsea could hardly hold the ball more than a few passes though. Your back 4 and midfield were shambolic. Special shoutout to Ben Chillwell who basically threw the game in the 1st half lol.

However, we ALL suffer the same agonies when our clubs get ripped to shreds on a match day. We ALL go through the hell of defeat and often the manner of those defeats. We all suffer the same, yet we all hate each other as fans. We're so protective of our own individual clubs and our players, and we take delight in the suffering of others...yet we all suffer the same. That is something which unites all of us and that's to be applauded. Don't worry mate. The players did make mistakes that cost us, but mistakes will be made when you’ve tactically outclassed and your manager has set you up to play like a championship team. Pochettino was scared and that showed in the way he put the team out tactically and it also showed in the behaviour of the players. They were afraid because the manager is a coward when there’s pressure. We’ve seen it before. Good players can become useless quickly when the manager is sabotaging the team. Perfect example is lampard and tuchel.
