It's always easy to forget how it's implied that Aubrey and Basil seemed to be friends before they met Sunny, Mari, Kel and Hero. This would put a lot more weight onto a situation like this.

Finally! Someone used Aubrey’s church battle theme. I’ve always loved that theme, and it fits so well with the context. Also explains why Aubrey decides to push Basil later on.

Kim is the worst influence that haunts parents' nightmares and also the best friend a person could ask for. Among the minor characters of Omori, she's my second-favorite after The Maverick.

I think one of the reasons I absolutely love Omori has to be how great it’s fanbase is. This is a masterpiece.
fr there are some bad apples in the fandom but what fandom doesn't have them it one of the least problematic I have come across it's funny, sad, creative and cool
The fact that Bakamatsu made Aubrey sound SOOO MUCH like her demo voice makes this all a whole lot more immersive. This was great!

This is beautiful… there are no words to describe this.
It’s not often that we see something from Aubrey’s perspective. But when we do, it always packs a serious punch. I’ve always felt that her character is much easier to connect with, as her experience was so vastly different than Omori and Basil. Yet, fact only makes this video hit harder.
I won’t lie, you had me in tears by the end of this. But that should tell you how much of a brilliant job you and the others who took part in this have done.
This one’s going in my personal favorites. I don’t think I’ll forget it for many years to come.
Absolutely wonderful job, you guys.
And I thought the original was good! Everyone sounds EXACTLY as they sounded in my head. Great job to everyone who worked on this!
I thought the guy who voiced Chowder from Chowder should voice Kel. While Justin Timberlake does Sunny (Mostly because he kinda shares a same backstory as Branch from Trolls)

14:30 aubrey throws her bow here (143???) and she stops wearing it basically since then. i find that interesting, because when i first started playing omori i couldn’t tell mari and aubrey apart. at first the only way i knew the difference between the two was the bow. just thought i’d say that :)

I've seen plenty of OMORI fan stuff, and I have to say that this is an all time favorite.
The characters feel in line, the story is solid, voices are pretty good, overall just extremely good.
Much love to this project, and I hope it get's even more proper recognition, wonderful job!

This was a geuine treat to watch. Im so glad to see fans fill in gaps from the game and give us such emotional works such as these. Everyone included did a great job!
Basil should have told Aubrey the truth about what happened to Marie the moment she saw the scratched photos, like, things can't get any worse lol
I use to be sad when I'm thinking about the pain of Sunny because he is the main character of the game but damn.. All these fan animatics and Omori videos remind me that so many people suffered as much as him, like Aubrey with her bad parents, Hero who got into depression, Basil living with all this guilt in him...

Aubrey's my favorite character in the game because she feels like the one that's the most relatable for me, from her problems to her coping mechanisms...
The denial in her voice as she asks「Why wouldn't they want to see us? 」,「They need us」and 「we should be there for them」almost like a projection of what she desperately wants and needs, Her sad and lonely 「we do everything together」that longs for things to go back together...my freaking heart!orz

To be honest, I hope more people see this.
I’ve been putting off watching this for months, never having the time or the interest, but can now say for sure I should have watched the separate parts as soon as possible. This is extremely well made, and does not miss emotionally either, may have teared up a bit watching this. Really does show well the events that led up to the game, and that ending really seems like the beginning of small hooliganery eventually falling into more serious stuff like the bullying of Basil. Shows amazingly the motivations for Aubrey’s actions. Great work 👍

Sigh... I just wish like... making new friends doesn't mean you have to forget about your old ones or anything, and that... some people have a harder time remembering what happened with some people than others. :( (Although in this case for the latter that's because... sigh... you know...).
I'm kind of a hard time remembering Aubrey's friends better moments, least of all for Kim and Vance besides how they felt for Aubrey herself I guess. :? Sigh... I wonder if I missed anything or just forgot. :(

As first play through its easy to hate aubrey, but i never did. You don’t just change like that for no reason. I knew from the start something happened when she showed up for the first time looking like a delinquent

That's exactly what happened here, though. She saw Kel, and he was busy with other people. Went to Basil, and he agreed to meet Sunny. They checked in on Hero, who ignored them. And then Sunny refused to see them. So yeah, only Basil responded to her.

Thanks for doing this. I am blind, so the best way I can see how this game works is through analysis videos, which have told me the story many, many times over, but those are just summaries. Things like this that require you to read the text make this even more sad, and these writers are to be commended for their work. If I could know the eccentricities of these writers, what someone would have to suffer through to write such realistic people, to create such art...

I loved this!! The pacing is really good, the music choices are great, and I especially adored the talk between Kim and Aubrey at the end. Aaagh it really shows off how different Kim is from Aubrey's older friend group, but it seems to be a welcome change for her. x3

haven't seen anyone mention this, but at 10:17 when Sunny is looking outside his window towards Basil and Aubrey, the entity is behind him (forgot its name basically the thing that haunts Sunny)
It's only referred to by Basil as “Something behind [Sunny]” and the fandom shortened it down to just “Something.”
