TheEpicNate315 hey Nate I figured out how to get the deathbrand set at any level and I’m going to upload a video on it soon I would like u to cover it if u get a chance I think you’d like it :)
Hi
Make another minecraft letsplay
Hi discord
I’m so happy!! Finally a video about the spider scrolls!! Thank you, TheEpicNate! ❤️
I'm pretty sure whatever is inside of Nate's mind is scarier than everything Skyrim has to offer. Knowing that many facts about a game has to change a man.
his knowledge grows with every second. he's the elder scrolls youtuber equivalent to herma mora.
Atem, an Online Artist maybe he is herma mora
Atem, an Online Artist He knows more than Mora.
it also may or may not be moded
@@atem420 i think ur on to something. what if he IS herma mora!!??? would explain a lot....
If Nate isn't an NPC in Elder Scrolls 6, we riot.
If hes not at least we have Shirley Curry
Still have skyrim grandma
He needs to be an information booker 😁
They need to make him a sort of guide who can awnser some of your questions
He most likely wont be and Shirley was mostly just added because she may die before the game is released and thus they wanted to honor her.
But that doesn't mean he can't be part of the game. We still have the modding community
M'aiq thinks the scariest place is the forest, those spiders aren't fun to take a swig of Mead with, M'aiq has tried.
M'aiq, my good friend, this place is scary! Perhaps khajiit shall go.....elsweyr.
M'aiq The Liar stfu liar
since you clearly had such success i am off to the forest for a drink
Oh, I 'm so sorry M'aiq
Keep your hands to yourself sneak thief
not a bad list, but you missed the creepiest one of all, frostflow lighthouse
Practically anywhere that has chaurus in it is creepy as hell. Their sound is everywhere, so you aren't sure where they are.
It's the first place I discovered with chaurus. It was scary as hell, because you could hear their sounds but you couldn't see them...
Good point
Is it that place near Dawnstar where a guy tried to save his family from being devoured by chaurus, but failed ?
@@falinestixiaolong9691 yeah
Abandoned house in Markarth anyone?
Just imagining what kind of travesties took place in that place chills me...or at least it would if I hadn’t gleefully taken part in them
I agree, I remember going into that house at like 12 am and it scares me
@@fleureixeu1149 I went in there my first playthrough of the game and Molag Bal's voice talking to me was so unexpected and scared me so bad that I choked on my water.
@@selestielwolf7949 I. Feel. You
I read that as "transvestites" and was very confused.
Those chairs stacked on the table tho.
At this rate I'm starting to suspect Epic Nate is actually Herma-Mora.
Which would make his videos audio Black Books.
@ "Hermaeus Mora , also known as Hoermius, Hormaius, Hermorah, Herma Mora, the Woodland Man, and the Gardener of Men, is the Daedric Prince of knowledge and memory; his sphere is the scrying of the tides of Fate, of the past and future as read in the stars and heavens. He is not known for being good or evil; he seems to be the keeper of both helpful and destructive knowledge, although he usually sees all seekers of any knowledge as his servants. "

M'aiq must inform that the scariest place is the black book where Nate gets his information.
LIAR!
You must have never been to Bethesda Maryland
Ah Reddit the blackest book
Ahh, M'aiq! It has been long time, yes?
@@kuddlesthekhajiit7768 M'aiq greets you, Elsweyr was an amazing place
The ruunvald excavation broke my heart when I went through it. I was much younger and I guess I just felt really bad for the entire situation. Each member I killed I collected their necklaces and when I finished I took them all back to my house for a proper memorial. The Dragonborn will never forget them and hopefully their souls find rest.
I only recently learned that the Abandoned Prison was in the vanilla game, and wasn't just from the Alternate Start mod.
What abandoned prison. Please inform me? ☕
Whattt??? Where’s that at?
Ohhhh, never mind. Sorry.
@@LW-tt1nl If you look behind Whiterun, you'll see a river heading to Windhelm. Just follow it and you'll see the Prison.
Dang, I think I just found my oldest comment, cool (Looks like my interests haven't really changed in 4 years, though)
I thought only the dragonborn heard that chanting thats very interesting
i thought so too! well....there are at least 2 dragonborn alive during tes5 so... what if she is another one?
You’re right it the black book and the dragon priest that caused the madness not the word wall
I believe that these walls with words of power isnt for the ears of normal mortals. If you probably stay long enough it would drive you mad.
@@dr.blockcraft6633 Well, she apparently didn't have the ability to understand it.
Well we never said Bethesda were great writers....

That’s a great idea! Perhaps they put a time limit on it and if you don’t escape in time, you’re dead.
Love that mod. Only wish it had more choices, especially throwing yourself at Mara's mercy with a completely random choice, getting dumped anywhere in Skyrim. And I mean anywhere.
@@samsonguy10k There are several mods that have patches to expand Live Another Life to provide more starting options.

Frostflow Lighthouse did give me more chills (no pun intended) than these locations mentioned, but that's just me.
Same here. Also both Wolf Queen dungeons.

What body did Aventus Aretino use for his Black Sacrement? That's always bugged me.
One of his parents, maybe
@@duxqueenie5204 ooh I hope not 😅
Well, there is pretty much no one else :S
Probably one of the dead people in the graveyard, there is a local butcher running around killing people, so there evidence.
didn’t his mother die, and that’s what put him in honorhall orphanage? I always assumed that it was his mother.
You forgot to mention that upon discovering the Redwater Den is being run by vampires, the names of the "front" people will change to Vampire Thrall but won't be hostile unless you make the first swing or fire the first arrow.

nates channel evolves slowly but surely. for the better imo. his content and the quality of it keeps getting better with every video he puts out
ZFG Gaming he never said it was thicc
All of Hermaeus Mora's realms in the black books. As a primarily stealth player, they always put me on edge, the music, the ambiance, and the monsters. Not to mention all of Mora's tentacles everywhere, in the spells, sky, water, even the doorways.
Spooky scary skeletons
Send shivers down your spine
Shrieking skulls will shock your soul
Seal your doom tonight
A quick side note about the blood spring. The reason it doesn't work as intended is because you need an artifact called the Bloodstone Chalice to properly use it. This chalice is part of a quest with Castle Volkihar in the Dawnguard DLC
Last time I was this early, Bethesda was a well respected company.
oh sweet its 2011
Bethesda was making buggy shit since the dos era.
@@reptomicus yeah but that was good buggy stuff
@@nickvanpijlen5199 When would you say they first started making bad buggy shit? Or more specifically which games were bad buggy shit? I'm not saying they don't have any, I just wanna know what other people think
Oh so... yesterday?
Oh, the creepiest place for me was Yngvild, with the necromancer quest. It was so absolutely chilling to me when I first played it and uncovered the story!
Castle volkihar is the scariest in the game along with the vampiric music that plays along while you explore the crypts full of bones and splatters of blood.
What about playing through on a crt TV that constantly need to be punched to maintain picture
How can it be scary, the place is full of reasonable decent people.
The creepiest moment in the whole game is, when you know you have to enter Blackreach soon...!

those gosh darn red scream plants are what get to me
@@mrnerd3143 Lol
@@ZyliceLiddell i forgot i wrote that lol but srsly they r tha worst
Redwater Den is truly creepy, the agony of the addicts in there seems so real.
By far the creepiest is the abandoned shack. Just the eerie creepy feeling of the location, being in the middle of nowhere and the things that you have to do to get out of there.
I have more than 1k of hours in Skyrim, almost 8 years of gameplay, restarted everything with a new game countless times. And yet, I didnt know about this location with white spiders.
That's why I love this game.
I have 5 k +.
@@ainzooalgownoverlord8913 you’re so cool 😩
0:00 Jesus Christ man I about had a heart attack, jumped so high I banged my knee on my desk, c’mon man give us a warning next time jeez
Lol same
Anyone who uses alternative start, will probably know the abandoned prison very well, though some alterations are made to make it a ne starting location.
Labyrinthian
Wolfskull Cave
The Midden (Dark)
Temple Of Miraak
Where is the "you may have missed" in those locations
Why the temple miraak im ok With that location
Did anyone else nearly got a heartattack in bleak falls barrow while entering the last room because of that bats ?
Yess. I specifically remember that from years ago when I started playing😂
Nothing is as creepy as lydia when you are in a dark cave searching for enemies and then she sneaks behinds you saying (ooohhh)
First time playing Skyrim on my switch. Lydia practically takes care of wildlife and bandits herself. Though with her constant running off, i placed her in the Steel Plate Armor. Nearly shit myself late at night because I just defeated a vampire den with low HP. Turn around to see Lydia sprinting at me and I freaked out at another enemy charging my way. Almost killed her.
Speaking of spooky locations, I'd add Pilgrim's Trench to the list. It's rather otherworldly.
Where is that
@@dennisdelaurier5122 it's up north in the area around Winterhold and Ysgramor's Tomb. It can't be discovered by swimming over it. You have to dive to find it. It's an underwater location.
Yeah. Thalasophobia makes it so much worse

Elder Scrolls definitely has it's fair share of scary stuff. It's not Silent Hill 2 levels of scary, but still. Morrowind and Oblivion also had some really creepy locations (Morrowind had a very unnerving dungeon theme, and Oblivion had some particularly morbid locations). I'd love to see you cover those Nate, places like Hackdirt, Anvil Lighthouse Cellar, etc.
It's less grotesque horror and more environmental storytelling.
When I first started playing Oblivion I found the Hackdirt quest terrifying...
There's a cave of falmer in the Rift, on the path up from Eastmarch along the base of the Eastern Mountains, Tolvald's Cave. If memory serves it isn't far from that last dungeon on Nate's list. In it you come across dead Dunmer, along with journals telling of their efforts to escape Morrowind after the Red Year, finding a pass through the mountains which lead them to these caves. It is a rather haunting tale. I won't tell too much, but if you haven't explored it yet, do so, especially if you enjoy killing one more falmer.
i REALLY enjoyed this episode. i always look forward to you releasing something skyrim related. thanks for all the effort you put into this
The only creepy thing in Skyrim is when you’re inside a cave & the music goes silent outta nowhere then all you hear is the surroundings....
Fun thing about the abandoned prison is you start there if you have the alternate start mod.
Never found the skooma den or the hidden dragon word... "Hey, you're finally awake..."
That skooma den is a key part of the Vampire quest line in the Dawnguard DLC. Can't recall if I found the wordwall. Know I got all the black books though
For me the creepiest are:
Volskygge
Lost echo cave
Shriekwind bastion both north and south
Folgunthur
Saarthal
Yeah and I recall noticing you could activate the bloodspring but nothing happened? What's that about?
@@abassguitar6937 if you aren't a vampire it will pump you full of diseases including sanguine vampiris
If you choose to be a vampire lord you’ll need to activate it to fill the blood chalice as part of the main questline
Nice, someone else who thought saarthal was creepy
I don’t know if you already know, or if this has already been in a tiny details video, but when you first talk to J’Zargo he asks if you have already mastered expert level destruction spells, to which the answer is usually “no”. But if you have, then he is impressed and is even kind of in awe of you and your power. Figured you’d like this since J’Zargo is your favorite kitty in the game.
I've always thought of Frostflow Lighthouse as the creepiest place in Skyrim. Maybe its just because those clicking sounds from the chaurus always creep me out, but I love/hate going there.
Finding a dead horse outside a residence helps
Creepy?! Hell yes. Who loves creepy/scary stuff? Who's with me? 😱
@Winston Pelloski woohoo! Thanks, my man! Spook buddies 4 lyfe! Anyone else want in on this? 😄
Same I Love Creepy Videos!😁👍🏻
Meeeee
Scary stuff is more interesting and adrenaline boosting which is more fun than the usual 'fun'... hell yeah I'm in!!
scary = awesome
C'mon Nate, you gotta chill with the jump scares in the beginning, I almost spilled my coffee man.
What's worse is I had my volume turned up from just doing a run in Skyrim. My poor ears...
I was playing Skyrim and as you started talking about the abandoned prison I walked into it. It gave me chills man.
Hey Nate! My god ur videos literally ALWAYS make my day!!
My god I love Nate's videos but the scariest place in all of Skyrim is...
Haelga's Bunkhouse
Oh god no
Correct
Now Nate if I gather around the campfire, I'm going to sing the campfire song.
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy all of your Skyrim videos. I mean it in the least creepy voice but I find your voice really soothing! I end up just setting your ‘Everything Skyrim’ playlist on auto play when at work, running errands, and especially during my long commutes. I can only imagine how much work goes into these videos but please know that many, many people (including me!) enjoy and appreciate them a lot!!! Have a great day ☺️
I love the whole spider scroll mechanic! there are so many useful spiders to use, you could build a character around them.
The worst thing for me about that number 1 spot is how there are huskies there - completely normal, non charmed huskies who are just following their hypnotized owners and trying to protect them.
I don’t like going into that ruin without either a lot of invisibility potions, or a good enough calm spell.
I put the dogs on the nearest sleeping roll with an owner and dump whatever flowers I have. :(
I'll make a note to max my illusion before ever going. It's super easy to do anyway.
This seems like a topic you should've saved for October, Nate. No matter... Once October rolls around, it'll be the perfect time to give this video a rewatch.
Or Five More…
what about the daedric artefact under the college of winterhold? how did that get there?
Amber Hoke
Pretty much yeah
Usually I'm not surprised by anything in these videos because I feel like I really have seen everything in the game. But I've never seen that spider dungeon before! You found something new for me to find! Thank you!
"Varnece and friends" ah yes, my favorite Elder Scrolls sitcom 😂🐉
It’s like 1:00 am rn and I’m watching a creepy video. Yup, totally gonna get sleep.
Love the vids! I'm an Elder Scrolls Officianado, and have learned things through your content. Awesome job man!
I got every single achievement in the base game, and I’ve never been too or heard of any of these locations before. Shows you how great this game is
Ok I’ve played this mod quest called “clockworks” at the start you will randomly be attack by someone once you kill them there is a note you can read from I think a woman names Camilla or something. Once you decide to do this quest you will not be able to fast travel anywhere until it’s done. You enter the ruins and have to find another way out because the entrance will collapse once you do if you pay attention there will be a woman a ghost following you through the ruins you cannot talk to her or attack her. There is this one part I remember is when you full on see here you won’t be able to move but she will be slowly walking towards you with this really eree music playing in the back ground. Once she is done you will need to go back but it will have changed there a skeletons everywhere they don’t attack but they make odd shapes and are just plain creepy once you are out of the cave you will see a mansion (that will be yours at the end of the quest) that’s the only scary bit of it but it is really interesting I suggest you look into it maybe....
Of fuck...
Thanks for the advice of fast traveling.
I got this note. I guess that I installed the mod during my madness of looking for more missions and immersive game.
I'm currently doing some of them checking notes and so, and this was one of them. I will do it for the chilly experience.
The creepiest place I can imagine is Frostflow Lighthouse.
I love these videos because I’m completing the game on PSVR and the immersion into these areas is amazing.
I haven’t even come close to searching the entire game even though I’ve played the main story at least 4 times so I find these lists very informative thanks Nate👍
Found a friendly Spriggan that you save from Hags in Snapleg Cave. It's the only one I've found.
And with the Number 4 spot wasn't bad enough, if you use Alternate Start - Live Another Life, you start out there and have the option of picking the lock and escaping though there.
this is how i started my current playthrough. no ragrets. such an interesting dungeon
i love your videos man! keep up the good work
I love Skyrim! I am looking forward to wintertime, then it gets dark outside and I can play the game and get that "spooky" feeling when the rain is pouring down and the wind is howling outside.
Do I want to watch it in bed right before going to sleep?
yes.
So question, aren’t word walls only audible to Dragonborn? Or am I misremembering?
Jonathan Cambron, from my understanding, no.
Others can hear it but they’ll most likely not know what it is or have the inherent ability to absorb the knowledge from it like the DB does.
Several journals throughout the game make reference to the “noise” coming from the Word Walls but can’t pinpoint it
Holy crap, I was freaking out when you were describing ruunvald excavation. I’ve played 3 _very_ thorough playthroughs of Skyrim, and I had NEVER encountered that place. Cue me frantically looking it up, all the while wondering how I could have possibly missed it _all three times_ ... only for me to realize it was a Dawnguard-siding only location(sue me, I’ve never sided with the Dawnguard. I was going to on my second runthrough, but my older brother told me it was unimaginably boring and not worth it). That’s _crazy_ , man, I had no idea this place ever existed. Funny how you can still learn these big things about a 9 year old game. Thanks for broadening my horizons, Nate!
your channel is a freaking gold mine for skyrim fans, keep up the great content Nate!
"Locations you mayve missed"
>Number 2 is a location integral to one of the major plot lines
Ok
Damnn, you scared me again!
I love all your Skyrim videos keep up he hard work! :3
A solid list. Good and genuinely Spooky places. Because I find a certain few locations truly scary, I might need to make my own mix.
The phrase is blood curdling. Like how milk curdles. Not blood curling. Just so you know
Nate: *doesn't get put in Elder Scrolls VI*
Everyone: [to Bethesda] "Never should have come here!"
White Ridge Barrow was my favourite. I loved it in there and reading their journals etc.
The Chillwind Depths-my first encounter with a Falmer hive. The note you find not far from the dungeon entrance, and the subsequent discoveries made within, play out like a horror novel. If you haven't seen the Chillwind Depths, look to the road south of Dragon Bridge, near the northern border of The Reach. The Chillwind Depths are one of the most terrifying examples of Falmer cruelty.
Gosh Nate, you didn't have to scare me like that! I'm just tryna watch the video!
Youve been bamBOOzled
Im not sorry
My friend, you have inspired me to do an entirely new play-through of Skyrim where my girlfriend makes decisions for me on quests, guilds, and even my character build. I am forever grateful that you sparked an interest in a game that I have played 800 hours on. Once again I am fully immersed in the game and I owe it to your daily videos. You have earned as many subscribers as I can recommend, thank you.
Love your vids
Skyrim was once the land of many butterflies now, not so much.
Great video love your content!!!
I am an arachnophobiac. And I love the spiders as tools. Especially the pack spider which uses bone meal and the glow spiders who use glowing mushrooms for you folks. The glow doesn’t really do any thing but the pack one carries thing

“Wrote it off as being sick or them being the victims of some strange illness”
That means the same THINGGGGG
Nah being sick you know why but a strange illness you don’t know what caused it
I love your videos and Skyrim I’m sooo exited for the elder scrolls 6
I mean, I am too, but Todd is just gonna screw us over as long he has any source of power.
@@stone6783 why? You realize he was the main producers of morrowind, oblivion and Skyrim
We’ll see what happens
Wait elder scrols summerset isnt ES6
No it’s just a spin off type thing
Halldir’s Cairn is my favorite place in this list, the first time I entered, I jumped on top of the cairn itself and somehow managed to spawn Halldir himself, who fell down the trap door to his death, giving me his staff for free.
I have a theory that in ES6 : Redfall the last Dragonborn is going to be like some sort of a final boss who grants you a powerful enchantment once you best him. I would also love it if the brotherhood is up and running with a few sanctuaries on the borders of Skyrim-Hammerfell-High Rock, with Babette, Shadow-scales, Aventus Arentino and the honourhall orphanage children being grown up and doing the jobs. And I hope the brotherhood doesn't have a miserable ending like in Skyrim where it's Nazir, Babette, Cicero and the initiates. Also it would be amazing if there was a fighters guild similar to the companions. Another great thing would bd that if you made your own town/hold, where all of your followers have houses and everything! A cool quest in high rock would be if you become a wereboar (in lore it is very possible). A great questline for hammerfell would be the aldmeri dominion and that you can sword sing like the hammerfell warriors. It would also be amazing if each race would be fleshed out more. Like nords be werebears , Bretons would be wereboars, elves would be werevultures. Also if the Bosmer had their Wild Hunt power which makes them more demonic than in Skyrim... Man I have so many ideas I can go on and on.
Me: I'm bored , I already played Skyrim for+1000 hours , nothing more to explore
Nate: but hey here are some things you may have missed
Me: well , time to load up Skyrim again !!
why did you have to spook me so bad in the first second!?

I AM SOOOOO HAPPY YOU’RE STILL DOING FALLOUT 4 AND SKYRIM!!!
