The older he gets, the more funny he gets. And the thing is, in many cases, he can back up his smack talk. And he’s not afraid of bashing himself either.

Tiger was clearly a better golfer , but I always liked Phil better . His go for broke on every shot ,his sense of humor , and his accessibility.

His willingness to hit every shot no matter how crazy it was is what sets him apart in my opinion

Even when Phil looses a Tournament I enjoy watching him play more than Anyone (other players & athletes.)
I can't identify with the type of success he has had.
I can identify with failure.
With the way he carries himself, I do not look at any tournament he didn't win as a failure.
He just didn't win, both beautiful and gracious.

Phil was the second coming of Arnold Palmer, as memorable for his failures as he was his successes. People just wanted to see them regardless of outcome. Jordan Spieth seems to garner the same type of attention and has a similar personality. He is next in line.

On his line about left handed courses, if you assume 50% (or even as low as 20%) of golf courses favoring left handed golfers, then left handed players still have an advantage in the terms that there's way more right handed golfers. So if the course favors left handers, you have an advantage against all but probably 2-3 left handed guys who could win it. Left handed golfers should theoretically win more, if these courses are biased. How much more they win would depend on how biased the course is to left handers, which isn't something you can really measure.
You could possibly analyze left handed golfers vs right at a venue like TPC Sawgrass with hundreds of tournaments played.

I like the one how he got Billy Walters sent to prison just to protect his own reputation. Pathetic.
So Walter's starts telling people about an insiders tip on some stocks. Mickelson appears to buy said stock around that same time and made $390,000 when the stick split. Walter's gets sentenced to prison for insider trading, but there wasn't enough evidence to tie Phil to the illegal act. Stop me if you've heard this one before... How is it Phil's fault if the government has evidence on one person, but not enough in him to say that the stocks weren't purchased because of something overheard or of it was a direct insider trading scheme? Remember what they did to Martha Stewart? That was to set an example. Do you not think the government would have done the same thing to Phil if they had the evidence? To try and say anything else is just you trying to disparage someone because you feel inadequate about yourself.
