Great reaction as always. Both covers of this by Angelina are glorious but I prefer the stripped down version Piano Diaries. That version lets her voice absolutely shine. Thanks to Toby for asking her to sing this cover of his song for his Piano Diaries album. Toby is quoted saying, “Working with Angelina has been nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to channel profound emotion through her voice adds a whole new depth to the song.” They are also working on other songs for AJ. This will be huge for her.

Angelina's participation in Toby's set at the HOTEL CAFE was unannounced; she stepped up on stage from the audience and sang IF I WERE A BOY, which was the 2nd to last song of Toby's set. BAD VALENTINE was the surprise Final Performance of the Night, an UNRELEASED ANGELINA JORDAN / TOBY GAD ORIGINAL song, to be released August/September. A number of cell phone recordings of the performance made their way onto YT, but the LIVE STREAM from the HOTEL CAFE of the performance (superior AUDIO and VIDEO) was kept from YT... in fact, Toby Gad had it removed from YT on at least 2 occasions. Although Toby chose to debut the song, he still did not want it "out" to any great extent, other than cell phone footage, which he knew he could not control.
I had a copy of the Live Stream of both songs, and I had published the first half - IF I WERE A BOY. But, I was holding on to BAD VALENTINE, because I HAD ASKED TOBY if I could publish it and he asked me Not to do so... so I didn't, but I did keep asking, because the cat was out of the bag and BAD VALENTINE was still getting around. Finally, after a number of Weeks, I asked Toby and he finally Allowed Me to Publish BAD VALENTINE, the high-quality Audio and Video version. "Bad Valentine" is her latest original--she just keeps creating like no one else can. James Thiel site has authorized video. I would suggest her EP done in order as it tells a story and by the way "Bad Valentine is connected to "Now I'm the Fool" from her EP. There is also a song she wrote for SOFI called "Our Time". All those are on her sites. Then, in my opinion, you must hear her "Unchained Melody" performance at the Nobel Peace Prize Presentation as in my mind this is the new standard for this song. There is the version with just the performance or a version done by James with the background info and a statement by Angelina at the end which I recommend. You can check the beginning of it to see if you wish to do that one. I will leave the links below.
