Quick and easy Lemonade Scones

A quick and easy recipe which goes perfectly with my strawberry and green apple jam
Ingredients:
1/2 cup lemonade
1/2 cup cream (full fat, not light)
Pinch salt
Splash vanilla
2 cups self-raising flour
Extra flour for rolling
Splash if milk to brush on top
-Preheat over to 200d Celsius (390d Fahrenheit)
-Mix together lemonade, cream, vanilla and salt
-Add flour and mix until it just comes together, don’t over mix or it will become tough
-Flour a surface and rolling pin and roll into 2cm (almost an inch)
-Cut into rounds and place on lined baking tray
-Bake until golden brown on top and bottom. Approx 15mins
-Serve warm with jam and whipped cream
