I'm 62 years old and have been watching the 49ers since the late 1970s. I've seen a lot of SF qb.s from, Montana to Purdy. Anyone that is saying anything about Purdy, that doesn't have him as a threat, as much as Montana, in the 80's and 90 and any other qb that made us great, through there skill and above and beyond, the skill that others placed on them, before leading us to a championship, is possibly hopping, that buy not saying that, Purdy, is a threat to be reckoned with, that somehow he won't be.When Purdy came in, in the, week 13, of 2022, he looked to me, like he was able to be the next, Hall of Fame qb and for the rest of his career, he has continued to impress me. Of course i didn,t know , for sure, back then but i said, that he looked like, Montana, that day, the first time i saw Purdy throw. I feel very confident that he will get us all, as far as Shanahan allows.
