    Awesome video. Really good tests. I was surprised when you revealed that it was Terradek, wouldn't have thought they had something in this segment. And your cat really likes it

    nice and well explained video. can i pair multiple receivers with one transmitter? I wanted to send videos to 3-4 projectors and screen while recording from loopout port. this will solve my cabling problem.

    How bright is the G story monitor? Is it good in day light?

  • @TJA86
    @TJA86 Před rokem

    Does that monitor work with different frame rate outputs? specifically 24p or 48p?
    I bought a similar one from a different brand, but it will only display if the camera base time is 50 or 60 fps on the bmpcc6k or komodo or 30fps works as well on my GH6. assuming this is due to the 50hz/60hz refresh rate of the monitor.

    I also use Ninja V with my S1H filming 4K DCI 10 bit 4:2:2 All-i frames at 400mbps. Can Spark 4K transmit 4K DCI to 4 k monitor or a 1080p monitor down convert for Director's to view?

    Thank you for the video. btw do you think this is a reliable focus pulling setup?

    • @GeraldBertramPhotography
      @GeraldBertramPhotography  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for the comment! I've been using this system since March and I have been focus pulling with it quite successfully. The big problem I had with wireless video setups from folks like Hollyland was that the latency was just too high. That hasn't been an issue with the Teradek Spark. It's about the cheapest setup I've found to accurately pull focus with.

    • @CircuitBoardcokr
      @CircuitBoardcokr Před 2 lety +1

      @@GeraldBertramPhotography Your comment helped me very much. Just like you, I was using hollyland mars 400 but it was not good for focus pulling. Thank you for all of these experiments.

    You probably already got your cable management figured out but he was my suggestion anyway.
    The stuff they use under the hood of a car looks like corrugated flexible plastic.
    It works really well and they sell it in different sizes.

  • @Loqu4

    I think my biggest concern is that with internal battery, sooner or later the battery will lose its ability to hold a charge even when powered externally. I think I'll still save up a little longer and get their Bolt 6 system

    • @huyked
      @huyked Před rokem

      I'm worried about that, too, in that if the internal battery dies, even with an external USB-C powerbank connected (you can see the port at 1:36), it might not power up. But hearing this gentleman talk highly of Teradeck's customer service, I wonder if they would be happy to replace the battery for you, or even send one to you to put in. Anyhow, I get you. I hate internal battery products, too; planned obsolescence.

    • @neilseiffer
      @neilseiffer Před 11 měsíci

      @@huyked I agree. One solution is to always use a power bank to run the unit. I use "Anker."

    Interesting product, but the short battery life is disappointing. I'd be happy with 1080p, 10bit, zero latency, but the battery life has to be much, much longer to make this a truly portable system without external battery on the transmitter side. FWIW, there are a number of frustrated user reviews on B&H with battery life, sync and performance issues. For $1,500 I would expect more.
