I love the piece at the end. It's like an Irish dance tune from some weird alternate reality where time stands still.

Thanks for these great intro vids. I’m contemplating jumping into fairly deep water at the very start - Moog system 3 and a euro rack for added spice mix and output control. Are euro voltages troublesome for Moog semi-integrateds?

Some really good ideas here, and various options for a small setup. A sampler and some effects go a long way in Eurorack

I like the Versio series from Noise Engineering. Not easy to "switch modes" by any means, but all the modules in the series offer pretty unique possibilities, and they're all pretty playable. Chronoblob 2 also deserves a mention as a straightforward, clean stereo delay. I especially like its crossfade mode which makes for some lovely, subtle spatial weirdness.

i have a moog sound studio 3 (dfam, mother 32, subharmonicon), matriarch, a syntakt and want to slowly dive into modular. what would be the best first Make Noise module and what case that can also house the sound studio?

These fx are all a bit to large imo, something like an FX Aid would be better for a small setup and cheaper

Agreed. And I guess most people (me included) need to save some rack space 😂

Who starts with eurorack to save space. Everybody knows its a bottomless hole where your money and time disappears in.
