Yeah it’s hilarious reading comments about electric bikes from people on different forums. They always make ridiculous comments about politics and generators. They don’t grasp the concept that it’s to help grow the sport.
My only gripe is the charging times. Gas bikes you can fill up & go instead of riding and then having to wait an hour+ it’s not very reliable for racing at the moment. Hopefully they can improve over the years because the charging is super annoying.
passing is definitely going to be an issue for this bike. no clutch. no shifting. no foot brake. but you may end up with a little push button horn or ice cream man jingle bell! 😆

This was your opportunity to test your Stark Varg against factory ICE bikes. OK, so you are not at the same level as the factory pro's, but that's OK. So, what you should do next time you have this opportunity, is let one of them pass you, just coming out of a corner, leading to a long, fast straight... then gun it just as they are ahead of you to feel how easy or difficult the Varg keeps up with them... or even could pass them? I'm guessing your bike would be as fast or faster. Also, you would get mad hole-shots, as well. Cool stuff. Thanks for the videos. 👍 PS: OMG, and you should have offered to let RJ ride your bike! Another opportunity blown 🤣
Distance sensor on bike .. sees you approach a slower rider and bike emits a sound of your choice? Ha. fun stuff. Wait until the battery and motor technology improves .. could we see a bike in this class weighing sub 200 lbs?
Now I am thinking that parking a Ford Lightning and putting a Stark on a stand beside it means I could charge quickly, and still drive by the gas stations on the way to, and from riding. I just hit the gas station tonight on my KTM 790 Adventurer and it took $34.00 to fill. I think that is the most I've ever paid to fill one of my bikes tanks. Do the bike have launch control or some kind of starting mapping? For let say so you have 80hp for 30sec and then back to normal mapping? If it gets that then it’s game over :-)
80 hp with instant torque, you wouldn't be able hook up.. Any wheel spin and your start is blown, the added power comes in handy after the jump... With good reaction time and clutch releasw you can get a 250F to start with 450s, it's after they shift up after they're put of the gate where they go hauling past...Especially outdoors on a long start straight. I would rather have less power out of the gate so I can put it all to the ground, then get more power.
You have the ability to define 5 preset maps on the bike which can be toggled on the fly view the map switch on the handlebar. So you would just set one of the maps to be your holeshot map, then click into your normal map after you pull a fatty holeshot 🙂
