Chicago rapper Robust celebrates the 20th anniversary of his debut commercial album 'Potholes in Our Molecules’ this year. Robust sat down with Vocalo’s Jesse De La Peña to discuss the album and its creation, and reflect on the two decades since its release. As a seasoned figure in the Chicago underground hip-hop scene, Robust collaborated with many artists including Qwel, Defcee and Max Julian to create the album. They also discussed the album’s anniversary party at Reggie’s, which was held in Chicago on March 2 to celebrate. It featured performances from himself and special guests including Dreas, Meaty Ogre and DJ Shazam Bangles.
