a) Paper chromatography
b) Thin layer chromatography
2. Column chromatography
a) Adsorption chromatography
b) gel filtration chromatography
c) ion exchange chromatography
d) partition chromatography
e) HPLC
f) GLC

Chromatography has broad 2 types planer and column.
In planer it is further 2 types paper and thin layer chromatography.
Then column has many types 1.affinity , gas liq, gel filtration, ion exchange, HPLC.
All techniques has 2 things common that is one phase is stationary and other phase is mobile phase.
Interaction between components of mobile phase and stationary phase
Depends on physiochemical interaction that can absorption, partition.
