  • Not since the infamous battle between Casual and Saafir has the entire Bay Area been so intensly locked onto the Bay Area's number one radio station-KMEL. Last night [Friday April 19th 1996] was an exceptional night as the Bay got treated to an interview of a lifetime. KMEL's Westside Radio program played host to Tupac Shakur in what may be best described as a home coming interview.

This man was loved by all. Black, white, brown, yellow, ALL.
Im a Native American and i can truthfully and honestly say, Pac's influence on me, through his lyrics to the man he is, touched me deeply. He was a magical human being. I understand the struggle and im down with what he was saying to us. Respect the TERMS OF THE GAME

For anyone that's too young to understand the massive impact this man had on the culture in such a short period of time just know it will never be duplicated again. Look how he's still being revered 27 years later and counting. Rest up King your legacy will live forever!! You died in 1996 and your tribute will outlast any rapper that ever touched the mic!

We all have to help each other no matter our strengths or weaknesses. And not using these weakness as an advantage and extort others. Pac was really about bringing ppl together and having each others back. A rich person having 36 million dollars in his account while there are poor people in the streets starving made no sense to him (as he said In the video).
