- Attempted Test Loop 1 again to see how behavior changed. This time it saw all the speed bumps but had a disengagement at the start with the right turn onto Plum Canyon road as it was being indecisive and also disengaged as it pulled into and wanted to stay in the middle lane on Copper Hill Dr.
Honestly for FSD to blow me away it should be handling these very basic drives I’ve been doing with FSD Beta for years now. These aren’t edge cases.
Good test. If you set a higher f number on the lens the outside will be in better focus, not just the screen. Try f9 or so. Should be enough daylight for that. You might have the camera set to auto, it might need to be set to "aperture priority" to use a fixed f number. I assume it's some kind of larger camera (SLRish) or there wouldn't be that shallow a depth of field. 30fps is also plenty for FSD videos which gives it a bit more exposure time. And less storage use and editing time. 60fps is overkill in most cases.

that middle lane behavior is weird. disengagement at the beginning was appropriate it seemed super unsure.

What drive mode do you have it in? (chill normal assertive)
Amazing. But still some way to go.
Why are you using the auto speed offset function if you don't want to speed? It's literally just made for drivers who wants to speed all the time.
Just turn it off at put an offset of 5 or 10% in, if you want to have the car go slightly above the speed limit.
Take 2, and immediate problems with the first right turn. Disappointing. Maybe v13 will be improved?
Is this the original cameras from 2018? Can that explain the miss evaluation of cross traffic speed / position?
