This is not the latest Apple iPad, but it is faster than I thought. It has a great screen and it holds a charge pretty well czcams.com/users/postUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U . I was concerned that it would not be powerful enough because I have several older iPads that are slow and cannot update to the latest software. But this 10th Gen has the speed and power. I do not use it for video editing, so having an M2 processor is not necessary for me. This iPad model has an A14 processor. So far so good. Glad I bought it. It helps having a larger screen compared to my Apple phone.

I bought the Ultra Hybrid Pro for the 12.9“ 2021 and it works perfectly with the Apple Pencil!

I think the issue of the Apple pencil not charging with the rugged armor pro case is limited to a few cases. Bought the same case for my 12.9 and the pencil charges every time I put it in the slot.

@@bucklifetech I have been using Spigen cases for a long time now with my smartphones. Never have I found an issue with product quality or the amount of protection the case offers.

I like the old UAG case that allowed you to remove the flap… I find it seriously irritating to have to deal with that flap when your not using the flap as a stand..
Man I was trying to look for that again. Guessing the 2021 models no longer do that?
Great review man! I really like Spigen cases they are a great value and the materials quality is pretty nice. I like the Apple Keyboard Folio for my iPad Pro 11 but I have had the iPad fall out of the case. I do not use the Apple Pencil so for me the Ultra Hybrid Case will fit the bill nicely.

Mine did not yellow after a few months of using it.
RUgged armor pros hinge part is too short so in a writing position the tablet wiggles when writing and applying preassure on each side. Basicaly in a 25 degree angle its useless if you want to write.
You're right. I find it better to just lay it down to write.

I like the tough armor but will be using it on the road in my backpack so need a screen cover and ordered the rugged. Just bloemig fits the m1 11 inch properly as the 12.9 has a esperarte model for the 2021 version. If it doesn’t charge I just will sand some of it down
I’ve seen videos of people sanding it down but also other ones that it works perfectly

I think any of the spigen cases would be a good option but my favorite case brand is Zugu, kind of pricey but it’s absolutely amazing.

Thank you! Yes i tried the pencil charging on all three and the hybrid pro worked every time. When i was trying to buy them on Amazon that one was out of stock for a long time, maybe Spigen had to fix the case. 🤷🏻♂️

Which one of them are the lightest? I'm currently on the hunt on a light iPad case that isn't a magnetic-type case
The tough armor pro is the lightest of the three, followed by the ultra hybrid. They’re about a 10g difference
Heeey, u didn’t mention how are they behaving when u write on a flat table… Are they stable??? Aren’t they slippery ? And how do they behave when u flip it around ??

How to solve the problem with Charging up Apple Pencil ?
I’ve heard that it’s only affecting a small amount, if you get one now then you should be good. You can also use some sandpaper to grind that area down a bit if you need to.
I got an Ptterbox Symmetry and it’s a flimsy flappy piece of garbage. These cases put it to shame. I like that Black Ops case a lot LOL

Hello will the ultra hybrid case flap magents attatch to front of cover if we bend the opposite way Or is it only attach to the inside?
Yeah you can bend it the other way and it will attach to the cover when it is folded back

I didn't have any issues with that case charging the pencil.. i test that many times and it always worked for me.

Does it have a detachable cover for the front side?
None of the covers detach on these
I found people reporting the same issue with charging the pencil with the third case, but some are saying it happens occasionally with them and they have to push the pencil little harder to make it charge.
Yeah I’ve even seen some people make videos sanding that section down a little with sand paper to make it work. It’s still a great case if you can get it working

I have never owned or used an Apple product before, and I am getting an iPad Pro 12.9 5th gen within the next 2 weeks to draw on Procreate.
Since I don't have any knowledge or experience with them, what screen protector should I get? What's the one you're using? does it interfere with the Apple Pencil?
I have looked at a loooooot of protectors, and they all confused me, some are insulting them outright, some create wobble when using the pencil..
With that said, I ordered the EZ glass screen protector from Spigen because I was really desperate at this point and don't wanna use the iPad without screen protector, as I have been saving for months to be able to afford it, and it is a big investment from me.
Thank you once more, any tips or recommendations at all would be a ton of help, since no one really gave me an answer.

I think you're going to love the case and procreate. The only screen protector I've used is the Spigen paper touch pro but another very popular one is a paper like. These are matte screen protectors that make using the pencil feel more like you're drawing on paper rather than a glass slab. If you're using this to draw then that's the way to go.

I think the durability has been just fine, I've had mine on for close to a year.

@@bucklifetech this is a bad case, scracthes your iapd sides if dust accumulates and remove your pencil from time to time

They are different companies but offer cases to similar products.

Hey a.b. I can't say it definitely will because the 2021 ipad is thicker, but not by very much. Its worth trying if you already have one of those 2020 cases

Nope the charging works perfectly on 2 of the 3. The magnets pull it perfectly in place

I think so!! Although I’ve never dropped mine.. for me, i have more issues of it falling face first on the table or desk and it’s good for that. I’ll be coming out with a couple new cases next week!

I’m not much of a gamer but I did download both of those and they play perfectly fine, very smooth. I have the 16g of ram version so I’m not sure if that helps
The Ipad did get pretty hot after about 20 minutes but it never affected the gameplay
