Can this Mous iPad Pro case really protect the iPad? Lots of products claim to be drop tested, but there's nothing better to put it to the test. The M1 iPad Pro case launches soon but I had a sneak preview of the 2020 iPad Pro (4th Gen) cases and they are incredible. I actually dropped my iPad Pro with this Mous case to see if the drop test claim is real. The result really shocked me!

You have missed the biggest downside of this case: the Screen cover! The side of the screen cover that is in direct contact with the screen is also the side that collects dust and at sompoint sand or other harder than Glas particles. So next time itâs clapped on to the screen in stand by it could scratch the screen when carried around in a bag.
Does it charge pencil when docked on the side of the case?
A clear glass screen protector does not affect the screen of the 2021 iPad Pro 12.9 I have a screen protector and it. Relieves me that the iPad will not scratch or crack

@@AlexGTech Iâm using the ESR tempered glass screen protector, the applicator helps a lot and it is very cheap and you get 2 screen protectors!

I didnât bother with matte screen protectors because of the same reason you mentioned. But Iâm still concered about protection so i use a clear one and the display is still as brilliant. Writing on it doesnt feel like writing on paper but iâm used to it already, not a big deal. Btw, thanks for the code. Iâve checked, they do free delivery to Malaysia. Yey! Looking fwd to September. Nice review! How strong are the magnets on the stand? If you lift it up while using the stand( particularly on the most upright setting), will it hold on to the cover? Or let go?
Hi there, thank you and so sorry it took me so long to see this comment! The magnets hold up really well in all positions. The grooves really help it stay stable. It's not the thinnest of cases but definitely the most protective I've tried!
Hi Alex, my granddaughter just dropped her 3 week old iPad which is a school requirement. It dropped on its back, while in the supplied protective case and the impact completely shattered the glass. Itâs now useless! Your demonstration is interesting, but how effective would your case be if the iPad fell flat on its back or front?
I think the worst case scenario is a solid corner hit. Even in less protective cases a drop on the back or front isnât the issue. This case seems very solid, maybe more so than an otter box defender, not sure. The otter box is a tank.

I wonder how comfortable will the case be while playing 4 finger claw on mobile games.
The edges on the side are pretty comfy, think it will be fine if you have it laying on a desk/table. But if you are holding the device then it will be too heavy and not very comfortable.
@@AlexGTech are the magnets strong enough for the folio not to open, because when you dropped the case opened up
Hi there, yes I realised that but it was probably me not closing it down properly. I wanted to record the fall from the iPad itself but forgot that when the folio is closed it stops the recording đ€Šđœââïž but using it daily I can attest to the magnets being strong enough, thereâs a magnet on the pen holder as well so it holds the pen really securely.
Finally got around to watching this videos! Great video Alex. It kind of hurt me when you dropped it đ. Looks like a great case!

Hey, I've just bought this case and ive noticed that it doesn't sit flat,the backplate seems to he curved which results in wobble when i lay it flat,does anyone else have this problem?

Will the case protect iPad Pro 2020 from bending?
It does have reinforced plates in their design which adds some extra protection. I am sure with the right amout of force (like sitting on the iPad lol) would still bend it but it will certainly make it harder

Yes they fit 2020 and have previous models on sale too, but not the iPad Pro 2021 yet. As soon as the 2021 drops I will be reviewing that đ

Screen protectors are a benefit or a hinderance depending on what you buy. The OtterBox Amplify saved my phone from cracking and it also feels and looks like glass. I have no idea what it's actually made of, but if your follow the instructions and apply it properly, you forget it's even there. I can say the same about the one that's on my 12.9" pro now. Of course these are $50 screen protectors. I guess you get what you pay for. Why anyone would use a matte screen protector is beyond me.
Completely agree! It's not a popular opinion on CZcams but I hate screen protectors for tablets! I will probably never be sponsored by Paperlike as a result. I don't care though đ€Ł

Is the back of the case magnetic?
They have magnets where the hinges are so you can stand the iPad in different positions. There are also two other magnets, one where Apple pencil rests and one on the flap that secures the folio. The whole thing feels great and very protective.
Will the folio magnetise at the back of the iPad?
I bought the Mous case, Amazon Shipping claim it was delivered to the receptionist, which I donât have.
Guess what Mous response, we take this matter very seriously. Mous failed to address the fact that Iâve paid for a case, which I have never received. The courier must have thought I had bought an iPad based on the weight.
All I have to say is âbuyer bewareâ! Iâm going to making a claim with my credit card company as Mous are not interested whether their customers receive their parcel or not and they do not respond to complaints. So, good luck with your lifetime guarantee on their products!!

How does it compare to ZUGU
For anyone wondering, the 2021 iPad Pro does fit in the 2020 case but I just put mine in and the pen does not charge through the case. Mous say itâs because of the difference in model year! :( guess Iâll have to get the newer expensive one đ
Yup! I canât wait for that new model. The 2020 case fits but itâs a very tight fit too! Iâd rather wait for the latest from Mous, hopefully soon - itâs an awesome case!

@@AlexGTech Unfortunately they kept sending the 7th and 8th gen by mistake rather than 11" so they refunded the order for me. It's a shame as their products are top-tier! Hopefully the next order goes better

What the best tablet for gaming value for money as I'm a noob from United Kingdom
Hi Steve, I guess it depends on the games you play, most big games are on Android and iPadOS so I think either the Samsung Tab S7+ or the iPads will be great for games. These tablets have a great display and decent processing power, I don't know much about other tablets though. Hope this helps đđœ

Hi, I have or had the Zulu and am returning it. Features are good however, the surround is very rough, buttons are not very tactile and the welded seams are sharp and annoying.
