I remember I wanted her to win floor in Antwerp so badly. I loved her music and I pretty much knew this would be her last Worlds, and she didn't have a World title under her belt. I wanted her last World medal to be a gold one.

nope. if aliya not injured tore her acl, aliya would won the gold. aliya is really unlucky but she still won the bronze in dance floor london show how great she is even she injured her acl.
@@izzehank1608there was no way Aliya Mustafine was winning gold she bearly got bronze at the London 2012 Olympics and her difficultly was no way as near as Sandra Izbasa 6.3 😂

Sandra is a true gymnast. The last American true gymnast was Shannon Miller.
On 00:31 she was clearly waiting for the music, maybe she didn't stick all 4 here but she has one of the cleanest landings and better form on gymnastics.
Dont matter her double double is one of the best I have ever scene. Her double layout half, awesome. She makes up for it! So chillaxo!

What are you talking about, at Rio 2016 Ponor competed, at Tokyo 2020 Iordache and Holbura. So there isn't any Olympics "where no Romanian gymnast competed."

I read something that said that different judges all have different definitions of artistry, but most don't understand it at all which makes sense because even among gymfans it's kinda vague...
I dont think she will retire for good. I bet she will be back fro Rio. She said she will continue training, at least to keep her physical condition. My mind is that she will be back for Rio.

She's in a class by herself when it comes to artistry; but when you are taking about USA, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney debunk your theory @Odium. They have two of the most artistic routines in the country.
She has lots of room for upgrading with stuff she can definitely do, particularly to the spins (she is capable of a spin combination, probably double L to double), an extra standing tuck after her third pass, and a layout front full on the final tumble...I basically said the same things about her routine last month at the Romanian nationals, so I wouldn't count her out behind Biles just yet, but of course she needs to hit and that's a problem with a lot of gymnasts even this early.

Kyla Ross, Nastia Liukin, Sabrina Vega, Laurie Henderson, Bailie Key, Polina Schennikova, Katelyn Ohashi, Mattie Larson...all recent gymnasts demonstrating beautiful artistry. I am sick of this generalization of American gymnastics, and the targeting of the USA. We are the Olympic and World Champions after all...
I don't understand why so many people insult Biles floor routine. Or other floor routines that in the same style. There are, and should be different styles of floor routines. If all routines were the same style that would be very boring. Just because someone does or doesn't have a more graceful/balletic/flowing/mature routine doesn't mean they are better or worse. Some routines can be more fun/playful/powerful/young and still be beautiful. After all this is gymnastics, not the ballet.

Biles routine is dirty, Sandra is superb. From USA I prefer Kyla or Maroney a thousand times on floor. Today Maroney has done a better jump than Biles, for example, and judges had overscored Biles (Maroney's face told everything). I swear for judges to score fairly in finals...

9.0 or more at least because in London in qualification of floor she had 6.3 difficulty and 8.733 in execution and she qualified in 2nd behide raisman on 15.066 and here 14.733 so I domt know why the judges are being a bit selfish because sandra izbasa is so capable on winning a medal just wish the judges weren't giving harsh scores in qualification because theres other gymnasts that are so much better but the judges dont give them the score they deserve

Just because some Americans girl have graceful move and extensions doesn't mean they are artistic. All those American gymnasts you've mentioned are not fluid in dance, don't have a superior body carriage.

The only thing I dislike about this routine is the little bit of hair flopping out of her bun.
Dislike this leap in landing are to disguise flaws in the landing, but it's a great gymnast.
