Holy cow bad weather is my favorite time to camp now that watching your channel and I see things I was doing wrong and made changes to improve the bad weather experience I was doing things wrong. Thanks to the proper teaching the worse the weather the better I like it. I have so many tents now so my friends can go if they want but my best times is just me and my dog beau. Thank you for the wonderful teaching online school. You are a credit to the camping experience.

I could take that changing weather, that thin tent without a fly sheet, being alone in a forest, and using a noisy gas burner instead of an open fire. I doubt I could take the strength of those coffees.

Agree with you using the pad on top. If you have ever slept on a air mattress it can be cold. Like a 4inch Coleman air mattress. Frozen one night at elk camp on one of those.
Yup, best to put insulation ontop to greatly reduce cooling

I really enjoy your videos I'm disabled I alot of gear I have to use a Caine it's hard for me to up from the foor so sleep on a cot. So my tent stove is taller than the ones you have. Mine has to be taller I want to have a hot tent so bad my tent is a colman 6 person cabin. I wish I could turn it into a hot tent I'm just a worry about how to do it maybe you could help me out I just don't want to mess my new tent up. When I had a stroke it has been a long time getting better, by me watching your videos have inspired me so much I'm a 57 year old woman and it was awesome to ge back to the woods thankyou so much I hope you can help. I really like your videos please keep making them.
I would really suggest purchasing a hot tent that is factory made. There are many options available that are tall to stand up inside

Exactly the same style of canvas jacket we used for years.. used to call them Hydro Jackets but of course there was a million different brands and makers of them years ago... still use mine sometimes in more winter conditions on my outer layer of course.. perfect for cold weather....won't burn with sparks off the fire like many other jackets and is just made for rugged outdoors life... only problem with them is if the weather gets warm, you're stuck lugging it around and it's heavy.. but WORTH it when it's cold....I have the same stove, and it's light for sure... interesting style of tent...winter i don't go without my percolator, even tho it's added weight.... Wish I could go camping but Ontario has of course locked us down because of Covid19... so I'm stuck home at least enjoying watching others enjoy camping... Cheers! The only good thing about this lockdown is I get to organize my gear a bit after winter...and get some overdue cleaning done around the house.....besides that it sucks!

In Canada 🇨🇦 we say if you don't like the weather, just wait an hour. Jeremy, you are a crazy 🤪 man sleeping in a little tent ⛺ with snow and cold. I am WAY too old for that now. I can handle the cold during the day but like a wee bit more comfort at night. I sure love sleeping in our RV.

That kind of weather is what we call? Normal, in Oklahoma. Day before it was sunny and a nice 76 degrees? That night dropped to 30 and killed off the spring garden and some new trees. Meh

Although you didn’t show it, I have to believe that you staked down your tent. A tarp directly over it and building a windbreak with natural materials would have been good too, but perhaps it was too windy for the tarp…

You just described my weather. Sun and snowing sometimes at the same time. Awesome tent. I have a whisperlite MSR. Had it since the early 90s. Still going strong. Ramen noodles is something I take backpacking all the time. But I love your idea adding veggies to it. I ate so many packs of Ramen one summer I couldn't eat it for about 8 years and now I'm just starting to eat it again. I don't know about anyone else but I always wear a stocking cap at night and I don't get cold. Really enjoyed the video!

Sometimes I get lucky and other times I just setup my tent anywhere

Looks like you get "Pennsylvania weather" where you're at. March and april are like that down here and even up till the middle of may in the mountains here. Your woods look very similar to Pennsylvania in the US.

I have been looking on Amazon and I'm not seeing one like yours. I've never used a camping kettle. I just have the 3 cup stainless steel perc and the large perc for truck camping. Thanks for answering my question in the video about whether to have the Thermarest on top or bottom of the Klymit pad. 👍🏕🌲🌲

A campfire is pretty much a necessity for me. I don't have the discipline to go without. If there's a fire ban, I'd bring a propane fire pit. I'm a big sissy that needs a comfy fire. LOL Love the VIDS!!!

You usin the Mardingtop 75L right ? i talked to some ppl and they told me that the straps are gettin kinda loose over the month... can you confirm that ?
Load was about 10- 30kg so hmmm...
This is the mardingtop 50l, but yes I also have a 65l and a 75l from mardingtop, no issues with mine but I also don't overland it with weight.

I tied mine in a knot and they have never moved, I like it that way so it sits in the same location each time I use it

You may need surprised to hear that total filming time was only 4 hours
I just got all my camping gear , will be doing something similar. Very nice to see a different way of filming camping as many people talk the whole way through. Enjoy your videos, especially the effort gone into the whole process and angles etc very nice to watch
