- Today's video is about me ACCIDENTALLY buying a VW Polo 6N1 with faulty brakes, clutch & gearbox, but it turned out that nothing was wrong with these 3 items! (MASSIVE WIN) The car is a 1 lady owner from new and only has 43,000 miles accompanied with 20 main dealer service records, so it is an absolute rare find which is why is naively placed a bid on this car, without fully reading the description... God and luck were on my side, nice to have a win from the car auction after buying a few bad cars over the years! #cartrade

Have you checked the fuel sender in the tank ? That's what I found was normally the problem.

Do you find that older cars with no mot are still profitable? I usually get stung with £800 bills, even when the previous mot had no advisories.
It is a risk when it comes to older cars for sure. The best you can do is find cars with years of good MOT history. But sometimes you will get bad ones still as you’ve mentioned.
