@@theoceanpilot thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! I'm currently living my riding vicariously through your videos, but am looking at getting either an Interceptor or a GT like yours. You have done some pretty long rides on it, do you find the riding position comfortable on the longer rides? What made you choose the GT instead of the interceptor?
Great video. Thinking about getting a GT Continental for first big bike. Does it hurt your shoulders after some time rideing with the handle bars? And have you ever found your self wanting more power in the engine at any point of your rides?
Thanks Joel, Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I find the bike quite comfortable for my height (177cm). Although it doesn't have the most touring friendly riding position I find the handlers really engaging and enjoyable to ride, specially on the more interesting and twisty roads. I absolutely love the the engine and usable power delivery on the GT, plenty for the roads and very enjoyable. Plus the incredible air cooled exhaust note which puts a smile on my face every time!
i found there was too much weight on my wrists and strain on neck, im late 50,s,i fitted cooperb motorcycles handlebar risers, look on youtube for most comfortable gt650, if you reduce weight by fitting tec exhaust and removing unnecessary weight the machine starts to come alive, good luck

How you finding the GT650 for long distance touring in terms of comfort and its seating position ?
