SAD Tier List: Every Demon Slayer Hashira's Backstory Explained & RANKED
Ok, this one may sound a little evil, but we’re about to do a Tier Ranking of all the Hashira backstories to see which one is the absolute saddest and which one is actually not that sad. For example, between Mitsuri and Kyojuro Rengoku, which one of the two had the saddest backstory? Well, that’d be Mitsuri. Yes, her story of rejection after rejection is sad, but it’s ok because those blokes were never meant for her anyway. She needed a real one like Obanai and we all know how their story ends.

Tengen is no doubt sadder than Sanemi's. Tengen literally grew up being tortured by an abusive father, have you ever seen ninja training irl? It involves literal torture, both mental and physical, to train them out of spilling information if they get captured.

5. Gyomei Himejima
