SUPERBOOTH 2024: U-He - Updates and Whats Coming

- At Superbooth 2024 we met up with Urs Heckmann of U-He*, and he told us about the progress of varous products, some of which are ready, and some which are in the pipeline. He started by showing us *Zebralette*, which now gets a dark mode, which is good for people who don't want to strain their eyes. *Zebralette is still a work in progress, but Urs said he hoped the next beta of Zebralette wouldn't be too far away now.
Urs also showed us an oscilloscope, which is also still in progress, and is similar to the oscilloscope in *Hive*, but as a stand alone app, with zoom, freeze and you can zoom down to a single cycle, and even down to sample level. You can save what you see as a wave file, which promises to be very useful.

Urs is awesome and Zebra is still one of my all time faves! Great to see these new products getting close to release.
This company's attention to detail is painful and exhausting. But the sound of Zebralette is the absolute best in the industry. The plugin sounds perfect. It sets the bar incredibly high.

If they implement wavetable export from that oscilloscope in Zebra(lette) it will be really cool, like resampling in samplers but on the level of wavetables. Yes you can do it with external tools but having it inside the synth would be a great tool for wavetable explorers.

I have almost all of their synths and the one I use the most is still Tyrell ironically enough. I would love to see them make a competent vocoder. IMO the best vocoder software is still Orange vocoder but the interface is terrible and not much seems to happen with that.
The oscilloscope looks AMAZING!!! Can't wait to get that. Can replace so many plugins!!!

We have developed our own rasteriser. We still use AGG for a few things on Windows, but even those won't be necessary once we move to something like Vulcan or DirectX.
Do you remember the filter module (Eurorack) that U-he introduced a few years ago? The filter was really amazingly good. What happened to it?
