I mean lewis is cool and all but it gets a bit annoying since everyone wants to kill him IMMEDIATELY so it comes down to who prospers most when everyone is messing lewis up... the best part of lewis around is when he triumphs against everyone just because everyone and their mothers is getting salty that Lewis STILL won in the comment section

Can you stop vaping while recording and streaming, you wouldn't smoke on cam so why do you vape? For people thinking about commenting, don't, it's nothing to do with you, does not matter that it's healthier (although it's hardly healthier), it doesnt matter that it's safer, it's annoying, this is coming from someone who lives with parents who vape, hangs with friends who vape, etc. I wont be replying to your boring comments because it's my opinion, not yours.

Actually, the most mature thing he could do in this situation is to simply leave. Close the window, without posting anything. Posting that he's leaving implies "I'm leaving and I want you to care about it!"

People who do not like something have the same right to post their view on the matter as people who like it. Yet oddly enough, the negative critique (no matter how unoffensively written) will always trigger people into reactions like shown in this comment thread while a positive remark ("I like a game without Lewis.") will usually go without the opposing faction going nuts about it. Extremely hypocritial and incomprehensible.
Why didn't you guys do yourselves what you demand from the OP in the first place and silently went on, without expressing your disagreement? Without "crying like little babies who didn't get what they wanted (= a comment section filled with one singular opinion (yours, of course)" by just "closing the window, without posting anything". Because "posting that you do no like the OP's viewpoint implies that you want others to care about it". Which is a "dick move, honestly".
Now just take a few seconds to realize how well the shoe you've been throwing at the OP fits you as well.

Zeytark it's just annoying when someone says "I don't want to watch this thing that I normally love watching just because 1 person isn't in it". watching the videos helps the Yogscast, it gives them money, it makes it possible for them to make more videos. not watching it just because Lewis isn't there is hurting them all.
Whilst removing Lewis wasn't the best idea, it makes it so they don't all unite against one player, and engage with proper diplomacy. I feel like this is going to be entertaining to watch.

i think it was his first civ vi game, the one they recorded, so it was a bit unfair for him since he didn't know any of the new mechanics. this game at least seems a bit more balanced.

Last time Mark Humes got ganged. Someone needs to be ganged, the only difference between Lewis and ..... is that lewis sometimes wins the fight, by either making them turn on eachother or taking them out.
Because I'm from Poland I love when someone plays Poland in these Civ series, preferably Lewis but go Sjin!

With everyone focused on Lewis' absence no one notices all the misplays. What a genius ploy!
There should be a scenario where its basically a regular game but once per era a different boss comes like they were talking about and the people in the game have to team up to fight them or let the other people get taken over. Like you have the barbs first and then maybe the mongols and then the last and hardest boss would be a giant alien invasion that has like 10x how many units you have and just keeps coming untill you destroy their mothership through some kind of special project that everyone has to help complete.
Calling it now, the guys with their Capitol directly on the ocean will die first, if they're not the aggressors

Sjin has a really good start, his cap won't be able to make ships till harbours but he can't be captured by ships.
It's not a catheter, it's a "uridome", which is basically a condom, but with some double sided tape on the inside of the shaft so it stays on when your junk is in a flaccid mode. The tip is a tube that connects to a catheter bag. It's used in sports etc, I've used them diving at times.
But on real catheters, I used to party with a couple of medical students back during university. I always wondered how these three guys could all down a limitless number of pints without ever having to go. Once I finally got around to asking they all promptly dropped their pants revealing all having catheters and several bags connected in series down their legs. Always wondered since what they'd do if they scored and got some lady company for the night: "Ehh, yea, hang on a minute, just gonna go pull the catheter"

I have a suggestion for the next civ game. Restrain the best players, Lewis, Ben, and Dunc, to the worst civs (Norway, Spain, and America) and restrain the worst players, basically everyone else, to the best civs (Scythia, Summeria, and Germany). PS love the channel :)

My dad just got home from a prostate cancer operation and i can safely say that having a catheter stuck in your urethra is not something you wish for. Apparently the chaffing and the angle when you sit can be quite painful. And you know when you take it out you have to wear a diaper as your contraction muscles does not work properly for a while.

See, everyone is complaining about no Lewis, whereas I'm convinced he'll still win. Somehow. He's just that many levels above them all that somehow he'll turn not even appearing in this game into a victory.

you might be right, i think usually duncan gets screwed over by lewis in most games early on, sometimes not even by him directly, because normally duncan is the only real contender against lewis.
it's either Ben or Duncan when it comes down to it- the only ones who truly know how to prosper in war of this group- when everyone gangs up on Lewis it's one of these 2 that finds a way to benefit from the havoc to win (if anyone manages to triumph over Lewis)

When it was on Duncan's screen in the beginning, I thought that "Code of Laws" said "Code of Lewis"
I suspect that without Lewis as an immediate hinderance to Duncan's expansion, that he will win this game.
I don't want Lewis to always win, that would be boring. But I like Lewis being in all the games because he can either bring a voice of reason or the more likely the voice of insanity. I just think he make the games more fun.

Well, it looks like this opens the door to many possibilities, with Lewis sitting this one out. As much as I like seeing Lewis steamrolling enemies, Duncan becoming a dirty, cowardly vassal and Sjin trolling the hell out of people to the point where you legit believe he could still win the game with his silly plays... oh, who am I kidding, the last 2 are still gonna happen regardless.
