I think the surprise from Battle Born says it all personally... They showed up in the battle and Squadron didn't have their best but you can't control everything. I guess it came down to that last set and Geom's was cleaner than Roxrite's.

@TheRolandBluntz i'm agree with you . is a bboy battle , every crew do anything to win , but is so beautiful when you see in battle both crew in a uprock battle for a few seconds , and then the guy who start the uprock will continue his set . anyway congratulations for boty international performance

From an unbiased opinion, I believe Squadron took the battle. They lost because their emotions got the best of them and were out of character. In other words, if Squadron didn't act disrespectful, then the judges would have leaned their way.
@StrangeDoctorStrange If I wanted to see Kid David and Roxrite in BOTY International, I'd have wanted them to be in Renegades, Keebs with Mind 180, Flea Rock with Skill Methodz, etc. etc. But then, the whole competition would have to be filled with A-list Bboys like Pockemon, Vagabond, and Chasseur de Prime getting together for the French team, or like Jinjo, Rivers, Gamblerz and Maximum for Korea. All stars vs. All Stars.

@ nonskiwun your right routines were used back in the day but mostly for shows not for battles, and it doesn't matter it's more raw when you battle one on one anyway and @ alltonasty even if we were in France we wouldn't care if we lose the battle by routines, we would rather lose then look like a bunch of cheer leaders! I think battle born deserves to go but watching the footage I still think squadron took it individually besides BB routines! Basically if it would have been up and up im pretty

Squadron is one of my fav crews, but they just weren't feeling it this battle. Battle Born took it; even though people thought they weren't hype, they were consistent unlike Squadron, they got sick members, but they were unbalanced. Some of Squadron's sets were cutting off short too. Kid David wasn't really feeling it; Roxrite, unfortunately, I noticed him crash, Milky, facing the wrong way when he stuck his flag and El Nino was unable to control his power in one of his last sets.

@ZeDayDreamerXD I seriously don't think they know how when they're battling. Those cats are straight scary, but as soon as the music turns off it's hugs and handshakes. I know what you're saying , and even though I love the dancers in Squadron, Roland's right to throw the Supercrew sign. Squadron's become the Yankees of bboying, whether you love it, hate it, or don't care.

I think Battle Born is a good representative of America for BOTY International, they deserve to battle in BOTY International. Not because of their skill as an individual or as a crew, for everyone can see in this battle that they have it. The thing is, Squadron got that too. But I too would choose Battle Born because they're a crew, not a supercrew like Squadron, but a real crew repping a common home. Vegas, right? If I'm mistaken, then please forgive me and my humble opinion. To be continued.

@petree not to say that i'm hating on the bboys in those countries but i am merely stating facts over years of boty, strong showcases go to many international crews who are very much stronger choreography wise. many crews who are really dope will never really get to actually battle at these things. such a shame

I think battle born's routines made a difference in this battle...squadron really didn't come prepared and battle born did so they deserved it. Other than that both crews came hard!
