Hi, I just bought 2 -2023 Onward Gas lifted carts and tried the zip tie mod on both...the first on went great and the cart runs 28 mph but the second one i am only able to get 23 mph out of it with slow acceleration....I have tried to tighten the zip tie but it is as tight as I can get it...thoughts?
@@HeyHeyHey97 I loosened the throttle stop screw and moved it back so throttle has more room on both carts and the one is still noticeably slower...thanks for your help btw...I loved your video
No only on gas. The electric onward. You would have to take to a golf cart ship. And they would have to get a speed code 4. How fast does the cart go now?
No sir. Gas carts don’t have a speed sensor. Check your front clutch and make sure it’s opening all the way up. It sounds like you have a bad drive clitch
Appreciate the quick reply and pointing me in the right direction! I also have another cart that’s electric with the same problem… any idea how to increase speed on those?
Wanted to say thanks for making this video and it went from 19mph to 27mph👍.
Yea sir. Thanks for commenting. Hit that like and subscribe button for me.

I have another video of this on my page that doesn’t have the buzzing sound. My speaker was blown. And didn’t realize it had a noise

Adjust the throttle where it opens all the way.
I have another video on how to adjust the throttle on club car

@@MarvinDufner make sure your drive clutch is open all the way up. Meaning that the drive belt is all the way up the clutch at full throttle.
Did you get the problem figured out
Thanks!!

Would this work on electric onward as well?

Ok thanks I used your method it works great thanks. Can this hurt the motor in any ways if modified the way you showed?
Np your engine is equipped with a rev limiter. That before the motor does too many rpm’s. It kills the fire and will start skipping.

Never mind I heard the last little part of the video. Post more on club cars. Thanks again!
Great tip!
Okay will do
Any idea how much mph you can get out of the mod??
On a club car. They will go 28-30 mph
If I did this and speed didn’t change, could it be a bad speed sensor?
