You're the reason why my daughter became a drummer. She was that same awkward teen you were when she watched your first video. She learned so much from you just by watching your videos and watching your techniques. She even her made her own drummer video for her media class (it was inspired by one of your Halloween videos). Now she is 1st chair of her drumline and has competed in several drumming competitions in our school district. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for showing her the way, and thank you for being an inspiration to her and many other young ladies out there. Rock on.🤘🤘

The feels are real in this Video. I miss playing with my mother (RIP 6/60-07/11) and without her it's been hard to continue my musical adventure. Having my whole life flip upside down in a blink of an eye rendered me lost. Lyrical Songwriting has never been stronger for me but it's just not the type of songwriting I ever wanted to produce and has made me leave music in the past. But I still stay up to date with all the Musical Content Creators like you and others and it always warms my heart watching the success of all of you guys grow and grow over the years. If anyone deserves it, it's you guys and I am sincerely proud to have watched you guys grow. All of your guys videos whether it be 3min-10+min, separate me from the dark reality of life and the depression that haunts me daily filled with grief and regret. So thank you for giving me an escape from my world into yours with every video drop. You are an amazing person, artist, and soul. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see you grow further! You had me worried you were giving it all up (big relieve). Been a proud Subscriber for a few years now and grateful I will still be able to follow along. Great drumming , great narrative and great teacher for so many you may not even realize. I've been drumming for quite a while now but never quite at your ability or speed, but to watch you play some of the harder parts of songs that I could never figure out gave me that edge to get through some of those patterns and be able to add those songs to my repertoire, thank you. A few of my favs Everlong and I Hate Everything About You, just to name a few. Can't wait to see the new Studio. Be happy you have some much film of your room to look back on you will never forget the great times you have had in there. I'm going to steal some words here they are so right for this time in your life. HOW can you speak this long, no breaks, without stumbling over your words? Even though you're "alone" in that room you are still speaking to an enormous crowd. Props not only to your amazing drumming but also to your public speaking. Well done and it's been great watching all your incredible videos.
I wouldn't consider speaking directly at a camera, "public speaking". There are plenty of tactics/drugs, used/abused by professionals across the spectrum, from pianists, to pole jumpers, that allow them to cope with performance anxiety and make it appear they have it "all together". I am in no way implying that's the case here, but you asked.
Another factor that makes this absolute zero pressure is, it isn't live. The content is carefully curated to look perfect, with as many takes needed to ensure the content is delivered perfectly.
It's in Kristina's best interest to keep things high and tight, as she's set her own standard through creating a plethora of past videos following those standards. CZcams is a business, and money is on the line.

you were one of the first drummers on here that I started watching many years ago. I played guitar for a couple years but always wanted to play drums first.. after watching you and others for a while I ended up getting an Ekit and its been a blast, but will hopefully have enough for an acoustic kit in about 6 months as I finally have the space. Congratulations on all your success, its well deserved and thanks for all the entertainment and insight over the years. looking forward to your next chapter :D

Oh man...what an incredible journey you've had so far! And this next chapter is a BIG step, but I believe you're fully prepared for it! I'm a singer...and I was with this one band for 10+ years. I remember a time when we moved from one practice space to another (the drummer's house to the rhythm guitar's house). I remember it being an emotional time for me too...leaving that space. So much had happened there, so much growth for us as a band and me personally as a singer. You'll do great, Kristina! I've enjoyed watching you grow in your journey and I can't wait to see where you go next!
I just found your channel a couple months ago and I've seen only a couple of your videos but I wish you good luck with the upcoming videos. It's so great to see youtubers who create honest content and live for their passion instead of making videos in which the content is of secondary importance and all they try to do is to sell the online persona they've created. Proud of you can’t imagine how hard it is for you to move out for the first time at 25. I’m 22 and moved out at 18 but not by myself been to a couple places involving other people. The fact that you grew up in that house, made your channel grow in that house and played drums in that house for all that time must be hard as shit for you to do this but you seem to be handling it well. Best of luck to you in your new place and also you got me really really good.

Congrats on the new home, you had me worried as I grew up wanting to play the drums beating on anything I could find but never acquired an actual drum set so I just enjoy watching those who got good at it including you. You're one of my favs! Enjoy the new home/studio.
My parents bought me my first set of drums when I was thirteen (to save the furniture) and I've played in various cover and original bands ever since. I am now sixty-six years old, still playing, and am inspired by drummers like you. However, I can never decide which I'm most inclined to do, after watching one of your videos...practice a LOT more, or hang up my sticks.

I would use the basement as the actual studio, not the garage. The simple fact of being underground makes soundproofing SO MUCH easier than trying to make a garage door soundproof. Some years ago, I was in a Metallica-inspired band, and our studio was in the basement. If you were outside, you almost needed to be standing within arm's reach of the wall to even hear anything at all. Standing at the street, you would never know we were even playing at all.
Yes, if you go play a gig, you do need to haul all that gear up the stairs, then back down the stairs afterward, and it is an absolute pain. At our age, that pain it very much literal pain. However, in spite of all the pain, the soundproofing benefits are SO WORTH the simple fact of being underground. I would recommend doing that LONG BEFORE I would ever even consider recommending trying to make a garage soundproof.

well.. my room since I was 7 until I was 19 was as width as me (when I was 14, stretchin' out my arms! (and I'm completely normal.. btw). and the length was a normal size bed + a small wardrobe. So... NO, not everyone could do this. I did however learn to play guitar on my bed. And if I were to have played the drums, my parents and neighbors would have called the cops, or attempted to kill me.
Still, I'm no bitter. Life's just different for everyone, and I've grown up to not just understand that, but also to cherish those who make something out of nothing, or even being able to do something from the opportunity they have. Many idiots with big rooms, and never made good use of it! So... Great work, for make it work for you.
We'll be nice to see your new house and studio. I'm 42, and still have to live in a little room (a bit bigger than the last), but still way to small... in my grandma's house!... jupp, I can't afford my own either. Surprise!! :P

Outstanding. I know what it's like leaving home, I remember when I did just that 21 years ago. The house I grew up in is where I actually decided I wanted to play drums and had my first kit, a little three-piece my mother bought me after a conversation about wanting to play. Twenty-five years later, I just got a used seven-piece Pearl kit. I had a detached garage (a little larger than a two-car) that I had my second kit set up in and had plans for, to turn it into a studio. Unfortunately, the city here decided they needed to widen the road and bought our home from us (my mother and myself, my father passed when I was 10). So, I had the misfortune of not only having to leave the house I grew up in, but watching it be demolished. I would really like to help support your new adventure, however, I am currently turning a room in my home into a studio and well...I cannot give change for a penny. All I can do is offer my emotional support. I know it's scary, change, but it will probably be the best and most rewarding thing you have ever done. I wish you all the best in the future and look forward to seeing updates and of course, the final product. Take care.
