They're much closer to melodeath with their modern stuff. To me, Vile Genesis is honestly the perfect blend of tech and melodeath.

Boiser is a fucking phenomenal vocalist and frontman. Honestly the whole outfit are top notch, but Boiser really directs the energy. Best performance I saw last year, A-game material!

Bass tone is underrated. Very audbile, but still blends well and adds so much extra oomph to the sustained guitar notes.

@@Cheeseburger.Launch.Sequence I think around beginning of 2016 Josh left. Sam Schneider did the Revenant vocals. Then Stevie came on, I believe when they started touring for Revenant. I think this is best Inferi yet. Stevie did the amazing Equipose album and EP, also he is in Tethys another good band.
Of course Malcolm Pugh and the other guartists name is slipping my mind are so good. Pugh is one of my faves.

Mike Lariviere same, saw them twice last year! A band I would travel for even if they’re not headlining lol
Nate Peercy I saw them at once in Boston and at the Webster Theater in Connecticut. Both times they were one of the opening bands. Both trips were an hour but so worth it.
I've been waiting for this for weeks, just to make sure I didn't imagine how ridiculous those highs are.

Just saw these guys last night and came to CZcams because i didnt get enough 😂 what a band!
I filmed them again this past weekend! Expect a new set from them sometime in the next 3-4 weeks
Cant wait to see them next week, this band got me hooked to this kind of music

@@batingbunnies Yeah it is. He has his own project that's solo. A Loathing Requiem and its great. Doesthe vocals, guitar, bass and pretty sure drums are programmed but sounds fine.
@@tdogg1281 yeah ive heard it. The dude has mad skills but im not a super huge fan tbh. Inferi's first album is the only one i can listen all the way through. I think he also played in Enfold Darkness for a while
@@batingbunnies Yeah he was in Enfold Darkness for a bit. The 1st album I heard from Inferi was The The Path of Apotheosis and loved it. Personally their one of my faves. What they did with Rebirth was amazing. Also I Steve Boiser is a beast. They're one my faves. Archspire, Virvum, Warforged are a few my faves. Gorguts, Demilich, Deafeated Sanity, Necrophagis, Spawn of Possession, Anata, Artificial Brain, Blood Incantation, Shadow of Intent too.

Should be headlining shows imo. I know they haven’t been playing live for THAT long, but still, their material can’t be matched by many bands in the genre. It’s like, ok, if they’re playing with fuckin’ Obscura I can see it, but otherwise not really.
Wild that the live performance of this kind of material is this good.
