For those asking where to find tools:
I bought mine some years ago when I was starting to make leather sheaths. I went for the cheapest I was able to find. Have been working great so far! Can't find exactly the one I have but I listed some in my amazon storefront that are pretty much the same and any similar ones will work aswell.

I hate how you hang axes with cast aluminum you're ruining the temper of the head when you do that there's nothing wrong with hanging an axe on a wooden handle the right way they last years and when they break they're easy to replace
I'm new at leather. So far one wet molded filleting knife sheath as well as two axe sheathes. Loving the craft! This looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
Beautifully done! Thank you for sharing!
I searched for 'how to make a hatchet sheath' and yours came up first.
I gonna make one now.
Thanks again.
I recently made a wallet at a craft place using similar techniques and the tools they provided made it so hard to make sure everything was even. Everything you did was beautiful and looks so much easier (though I know it takes skill and practice to have a product that looks this amazing!) Thanks for the video!
😍😍😍 i like so much how it looks
Очень крутая работа! 👍
Really would love to try some leatherwork. This looks like an approachable project. Thanks Gader!
I'm sure you've found that it is a little expensive.
I love when tout speak about leather!
A great Boy Scout project.
Bravo. The art of leather processing has disappeared in my country. I appreciate masters like you.
When something is just beyond craftsmanship. It's art, fine art. Great job man!
thanks for sharing this skill. it was my first leatherworking attempt. doesn't look as professional as yours but you have inspired me to try more. much appreciated.
Simple yet elegant 👍👍
You can do everything , bravo .
Oh wow, that so simple but so well crafted!
IDOLO, continua così, sei un orgoglio italiano!!
Perfect, you are a true artist, a genius ! Bravissimo ! Magnifico ! 👍🏻😺
Nice project with the most famous spatula in CZcams :) try next time to use two needles for the stitching.
I thought I was the only one who found it odd that he only used one
Очень нравится смотреть за работой настоящего мастера , вещь получилась достойной и долго будет радовать глаза будущего хозяина!!!👍👍👍💯%

Simple leatherworking project but made with passion ;) Good job!!
Very good lession in the craft of leather work !
Damn fine work
You make the stitch grooving look so easy. I’m awful at it- somehow my groove always comes out uneven, too far in or out. It’s very frustrating.
Great video- it’s been a big help to me.
Awesome, good player
Nice man
Awesome work, definitely something I need to try at some point
Круто! У тебя золотые руки.
I loved the movie theaters when still more common tracks that take me back only listening to new rock bands like the delta parole gives me the epic movie feelings.
Great video
Good job 👍

After watching your video I decided not to make an axe sheath since there's no way I can make something that good.
Nice job m8 ,my axe head is n just like yours and ive found the right way of making a sheath now thanks to you ,cheers for the idea, Greetings from Wales UK ,wherever you are .
"It puts the lotion on it's skin" JK. nice work.;-)
Nicely done. How about making a grip too?
A wooden handle would be so much more elegant, however I saw you forge that handle yourself so I know that's your style.

Wow well don
Thanks so much for not blathering on for 25 minutes sharing meaningless crap about how "your uncle really loved to use a mahogany stain but you feel that the butter pecan gold dye really speaks to you" I appreciate you showing the task only. Subscribed and liked

приятно смотреть когда человек понимает что он делает, а не творит какую-то фигню на манер а сделаю вот так и посмотрю чё получится, авось прокатит
I got to say. I’m kind of surprised you didn’t use black leather.
Technique :)
Bravo Zulu
Thanks perfect video, making exactly the same one for my wife's hatchet unrestored for her.....
Nais👍
nice leather cover minimal tools needed
This is the only channel that I don't skip through the videos to find the good parts
Why does it always sound like your at a Race Track??
Or he put whale calls in the background. Who knows.
He lives in Italy.
👍👌👏💖
I made a viking ax and two broke back seax knives and the sheaths are old brown vynel from a old hot tub cover. They are all loose but I am going to find a way to make them more snug fitting and a snap fit strap for the ax. Thanks for the video
Que buen pulso
Some find it easier to set the snaps before gluing and stitching, but well done nonetheless.
What kind of leather? If it was chrome tanned do you have to worry about it contacting with the metal for extended periods of time?
Wonderful job as always thank you. Looks like you cut your hand, hope you will be alright.
Getting started in some leatherwork...I have watched this video several times. It's been a great help. BTW, What contact adhesive do you use?
I cannot find that adhesive anywhere ! Maybe a different contact cement would work. IDK.
This is my first video of yours. I subscribed because you have a lot of cool tools ...toys!!
I'm making an axe cover/holster for my neighbor. Thanks for the video!!
You are the beste im from moroco ❤❤❤
Класс!
Молодец! Хорошая работа.
I kiff it😏
By the way, who won the axe? I missed something? Haven't seen the results.
It was just missing the BBP logo
:-)
Yo siempre coso con dos agujas cruzadas, queda mucho más fuerte.
Pero te ha quedado muy bonita 👍
