you learn many things from watching this show. now while ofcourse you should take all media with a grain of salt I truely believe last week tonight spend so much more effort on their comedy based news than official news medias like fox news does. and while there is a obvious bias towards some things last week tonight provides a objective look more than a biased one
@@jonesso11 the base story is usually less biased but there is a fact coverage gap when it comes to politically sensitive topics. I'm glad they aren't just a propaganda machine but they could use someone with an economics degree to help inform the show's audience.
The vocals themselves are meh, but they also have a layer of music on top the instrumental bed that the instrumental part alone doesn't quite capture. If you listen to the 8 bit cover that I linked to in the description, you'll see what I mean. I wish someone could make a version like that but with real instrumentation
I feel this track is special because it reminds us that no matter how dark and scary times might get, there's someone who's fighting the good fight. He may be wrong at times, maybe he doesn't succeed in leaving the world in a better place... But he's fighting.... And so should us....

Kind of initially I liked this version far more because it was the version I was accustomed to, but I gave the original one a real fair try and I ended up quite liking that one even though I initially hated the vocals.
