Those tall ones are usually a memorial candle that is lit and burned for 24hrs in remembrance of the person who has past. It's usually done on their birthday.
If you have no Goo Gone on hand, you can use a spritz or two of "PAM" or whatever pan greaser you use. Labels come off easily and you can wash off any residue. Great info, Andrea Jean! Love it.

I'm so glad I discovered your channel! You're a hoot! Lots of great tips. Here's one for you (just in case you aren't aware). I use my crafting heat tool (a blow dryer will do) to remove any labels, including amazon labels on boxes I want to reuse! It loosens the adhesive on them all, and no need to spend money on Goo gone, or deal with the scent! On glass surfaces, I use alcohol to get rid of any residue, and you're good to go. Tyfs your tips, and for your humor.

For those stubborn stickers, particularly on a curved surface, rip a piece of paper towel about the same size as the tag. Lay it on top of sticker then squirt with Goo Gone and wait. The paper towel holds the product on the sticker and gives it time to work the magic. If the sticker has a plastic coating tear that part of so product can reach the adhesive.

You can make homemade Goo Gone using 1/4 c baking soda,1/8 c cooking oil, and a few drops of citrus oil. I put it in a pint mason jar and it lasts quite some time. 😊 When u want to use it just just scoop a little out and rub it on the surface of the residue with your fingers.
When you say cooking oil do you mean Vegetable oil? Olive oil?

REMOVING STICKERS:
Forget the mess, rubber gloves & stinky smell of Goo Gone!
The easiest way to remove stickers is to heat them up with a hair dryer. Warm 'em up and they'll peel right off.
This also works great on plastic things too (like totes, etc).

When I remove any stickers with the Goo Gone I use a small piece of paper towel but you could use something else and I lay it over the sticker covering it completely and then spritz the whole area and let it sit for a while. Depending on how big or sticky the adhesive is it may require less or more Goo Gone but it has always been my experience that it typically takes very little and also keeps it from running as much. I feel like it removes it quicker because the soaked towel sitting on it.

You said oofda and I almost choked on my tea. My husband is Norwegian and we were introduced to the word oofda a couple years ago when meeting his cousin in Wisconsin for the first time a couple of years ago. We say it all the time.
If you peel the labels slowly, they usually come right off. If anything is left behind that's sticky, i use coconut oil. Gets the resins off your hands when you're trimming your flowering plants too.
Let the GooGone set for awhile and it will peel right off!

Put the candle on a cooking pan and place it into a low oven and let it melt. Then you can wipe the candle canister out with a paper towel.

Olive oil removes stickers easily
And always burn your candle until the edges have melted to prevent creating a dip. And you can also put the last of the candle for an hour to get it out of the bottom

Ice. Usually works
You can lay a paper towel underneath and over the top of it (basically making a paper towel sandwich around the piece of clothing) and GENTLY iron it on a low setting... The wax will melt and get soaked up by the paper towels!! Good luck! I hope you get the candle wax off!!

Sit the Dollar Tree Candle in boiling hot water for a few minutes and the label peels right off. I do it all the time.

Andrea, my candles cause soot everywhere in my house, even when I trim the wicks and blow them out after about an hour or so. Do you have any suggestions? The soot likes to stick to the plastics in my house, like the inside of the fridge or my plastic dividers in my drawers!
Hi I used to sell candles so I know a bit about them. The candles that produce the most soot usually have metal in the wicks. Maybe check out the brands you're burning. Also if you're blowing them out that could cause them to continue to smoke for a bit. I like to put the lid back onto the candles with tops and let the candle go out on it's own which they will without access to oxygen. Let the top sit there until the soot clears itself out maybe 20 minutes or less. Once you open the lid it should be gone by then. Hope that helps. Also if it's a continued issue no matter what you've done, I'd suggest switching to wax melts, all the fragrance without the flame.

I love ❤️ the idea of freezing the candle, I will most definitely have to try that. I enjoy burning candles so much, I find it very relaxing! I live in Canada 🇨🇦 so I can't get things from a Dallor Tree for we don't have them here. We do have what we call Dallarama here,so the thing's that are sold there are very different. Can you please make a suggestion as to what or where I can get thing's that are similar to what you get in your Dallor Tree's. Please and Thank You 😊

Until it's frozen
Keep it in the freezer while you are not using it so it burns slower when you DO use it!
Soak that sticker with Goo Gone for about 2 minutes and boom, off it slides.
No goo gone...using a hair dryer to take stickers off!

Good stuff, but please don't use those plastic floss holders. The world needs less plastic in it.
