U can also use paper plates in between plates especially when moving it definitely saved me a ton of money moving to FL from NC
I stopped using Jet Dry ages ago! Just use Vinegar!
LOL! My girl is balling on a budget! 😄 If the drinking glass is not rated for the amount of heat the candle puts out the glass can explode. It isn't worth someone's eye being punctured when you could use a metal container.
It just needs to be Borosilicate glass. So a glass left over from a candle should be fine. I'd use the thicker ones though. I have had cheap crappy candles crack when lit. That emergency candle is a great idea and much healthier than sterno containers. I'd add the oils before lighting though as some are very volatile. 😁
I always have to many coffee filters.. so glad to come across this video! I love the hacks and the way you talk is just fine. Ppl are so judgemental forgetting this is not they're video if you do not like it keep scrolling. Bothers me how negative ppl are on someone's else's post

I didn’t know that. I just use a cake cover.
I found that when you cover the food if you wet the coffee filter first for some reason it seems to heat the food more evenly

Hey Andrea I love your Channel whenever I get on CZcams I always run into you in my searches and you've got the greatest hands I think you're the best out there! You never waste my time. Here's two more coffee filter hence it maybe didn't think about or just didn't want to include I don't know cuz you got the best but I'm old enough where I've tried a good portion of them anyways. So the first coffee filter or shall I say wet paper towel or coffee filter wrapped around your leftover half avocado in the fridge and it will be bright and green the next time you go to take it out again if you find the papers getting dry, just running under the faucet again and back in the fridge. The other one I do on occasion is when my oil fryer my hot oil fryer is getting kind of gunky inside but I really want those french fries or fried chicken, all you have to do is find another vessel put your coffee filter in a nice funnel and run your oil right through there comes out clean and pretty where you can use it once or twice more at least. Thanks for all your great hints all the time. Have a great one and keep up the great work! :-)

Years ago I walked into a California Pizza Kitchen and saw a bartender steaming wine glasses and cleaning them with coffee filters. I asked him about that and he said that the coffee filters were totally lint free, cheap, disposable, and were perfect for polishing glasses. I’ve used them ever since on my nicer wine glasses!
If they are lint free I wonder how they would work cleaning mirrors and windows? Gotta try it.

TIP: Save money...instead of using Jet Dry use white vinegar. Does the same thing but cheaper. I just pour 1 cup directly into the dishwasher.
If you have plexiglass that needs cleaning, use coffee filters and furniture polish to clean and make it shine. Keep in mind in general that some coffee filters will be tougherb than others so play around with brands and find out what you like!!
Very good ideas, Andrea, but please don't use clear containers for your olive oil. It should not be exposed to light. I use dark green glass botlles or completely opaque ceramic bottles. Amazon has many to choose from and several are reasonably priced. XO ❤️

Off topic here,does anyone know how to fix static electricity besides a humidifier? It's so dry in our house it's hard to run sweeper to sweep up dog hair especially. It literally sticks instead of sucks on sweeper& the attachment. I'm having a hard time using the sticky rollers as well,when it's this dry the hairs don't want to stick! Our small humidifier is basically worthless! Any help would be appreciated! Thankyou!!

Coffee filters are better to absorb oil on your face, yet will absorb less oil than paper towel when used to grease your pan??
Coffee filter will absorb more moisture than paper towel for keeping veggies fresh??
Can't decide whether coffee filters are MORE absorbent or LESS absorbent.
However, they're cheaper than paper towels 😄

Fabric softeners should not be used in your laundry or burned to scent your candle. They release harmful chemicals. Use white vinegar as a fabric softener and natural essential oil if you need to scent your candle.
Vinegar doesn't soften nearly as much as liquid fabric softener. Tried on sweaters.
