I can relate to what you are saying, Jennifer. It often hits me late at night when I just let my mind drift. There are so many things that we have been convinced of as being important by ourselves or others that when we truly look at them, they are trivial and unimportant in the great context of the universe. Our loved ones will more likely remember that we were kind and understanding to them rather than remember that we were good at managing our finances and keeping our home organized. It's more important to make sure somebody is fed and kept warm rather than dwell on the mess they make. Bless you, Jennifer, for taking care of those sweet kitties. ❤
I have a neighbor who feeds all the stray kitty’s in our neighborhood he even has them fixed. He comes every early evening and leaves out food and water all the kitty’s greet him they wait for him even the raccoons greet him they all love him 😊 My son and myself call that part of the park where the kitty’s live the kitty park. My dog Shadow loves kitty’s so he never bothers them ❤
There is so much joy in feeding stray cats or even other animals. The fact that they remember you everytime, although they want only food, they have a sense of belonging to us, sometimes humans dont show or undersrand.
That is very profound. I always try to acknowledge the quiet people around me to let them know that they mean something to me. You never know what burdens they might be carrying. ❤

Also have been unable to rehome them through valient efforts by many, I hired someone last year who took advantage of me - I may not be able to sell my house if a buyer knew about all of them. But my great grandmother Nellie was one of my earliest childhood memories. She went out morning and night on her giant front porch with scraps and cats came running for food. She had a reputation in town, she fed hobos during the depression. Her home wasn’t far from the main terminal of the train routes; so they marked her back fence in signs which meant ‘friendly to hobos’. I wish more people were like you. I’ve come to the conclusion that many people in this area are apathetic. It’s nothing like where I grew up. One of the reasons I want to leave this mostly heartless coastal community. At least it feels that way. I’ve been caring for stray, injured animals of all kinds for almost 10 years at this address. I have neighbors who kill them. Because they tell me they do and how. I had to see this during your Taurus reading.

I am currently feeding over 20 stray and abandoned cats. I have Spayed and neutered all of them at my own expense. Where I live no one else will help. It’s just my husband and myself feeding all these animals. We are retired and in need ourselves, but there is nowhere to turn to for help.
