Phase 95 is a great pedal and only one knob so very easy to dial in tones. But no blend knob which i find really useful personally or settings that allow you to get a bit weirder 😀. Lots of people use phase 90 tho (Mike McCready, Tom Morello etc) and I have one so definitely a great first phaser pedal, really depends what you’re after 🤘
I can't believe Led Zeppelin's 'Nobody's Fault But Mine' was left off this list. 'The Rover' is a great tune, but 'Nobody's Fault But Mine' is far better.
The thing that really bothers me about this pedal, now that I bought it, is that nowhere in any of Catalinbread's marketing materials or website does it specify whether this is an analog or digital pedal. They just sort of allude to the LFOs and modes and never clearly state that it is, in fact, digital. Sure, it sounds great on its own, but as soon as you start trying to get it to play nice with other pedals -- fuzz, filters, what-have-you, the effect just kind of falls apart. I really feel this is rather disingenuous on the part of Catalinbread that they avoid specifying that it is a digital emulation of a phaser.
