Love the car, I own a 2008 DB9 with SP,. Less than impressed with the "test drive", albeit cool roads on summer tires will always be an issue and will never allow full performance to be realized. Didn't really do the Aston justice and there are certainly more comprehensive and comlete reviews out there. Looks like Wayne was just a spare shirt, or maybe ballast!
I like these early DB9's although I think the auto suits this type of car over a manual. There are manual versions though. These make a great used car bargain too as I've seen 2004 versions with about 60k miles and full AM service history going for about £25k. That's a lot of car for the money.
@@ianrkav a manual DBS would be good to try. Driven a few DB9s in the past and this one had a smooth auto change even a low speed which was always a bugbear with these early cars
@@TheTimBushChannel Bloody hope not! Getting my dream, one owner,2005,Onyx Black DB9 next week and it’s headlining looks like new!🤞😬 Can’t wait! Was supposed to be being delivered tomorrow but both delivery guys came down with COVID! Not helpful at all!😩
@@oggie1967 Nice one Oggie. Great car. Such a massive improvement on the DB7. Although the DB7 GT was decent. The manual for me, however there ain’t many around. Always fancied the DBS. The headlining issues are just down to poor ownership, keep it nice and dry when not using it. If it’s good now it will probably be fine.
I've got my DB9.2 2014 and LOVE it....I am smitten...cheers from across the pond, mate🥃🥃
Nice one Darren, look after it as these cars are going up in value as the electric car revolution gathers pace.

Thanks David. Yea didn’t have as much time as I would have liked, nevertheless it was great to drive.

I much prefer a manual, yea a lot of car for 25k
@@TheTimBushChannel So do I. I like the extra connection with the car you get with a manual. I do like the auto's too:-)
@@ianrkav for me a performance sports car needs to be RWD, big HP and manual
@@TheTimBushChannel I think you need to try a manual DB9 or DBS:-)

Hmmm, headlining needs looked at!😬
Well spotted Oggie. It was a common fault with these.

Just have to keep watching DB9 vids on YT until it arrives!👍
Beautiful car but get that CHEAP plate off it ruins it
Not my car so can’t change the plate.
