- Kunal Shah, the founder of CRED spoke at the Mint Investment Summit in Mumbai. Among some of the key things he said, was a piece of advice for startup founders. 'You must understand what people will pay for. Think about your family, what will they pay for?' he said. He also said that the concept of time for those in the West vs those in India was very different - so an idea that appeals to people in the U.S. may not work in India. Kunal Shah has just ensured that his personal marketing & Cred's marketing is top notch. But the notion that he is building a distribution channel for uber rich Indians is a BS proposition.

Kunal shah business mindset is great.
i think the problem when u build based on profit pool, u unknowingly make similar product and that kills u in the end, for example Cred was for 1 percent now it became for 100% just like paytm, gpay, phonepe. same for ed tech & food delivery. no variations in application. like kunal's older video of delta 4. i think today's startup will only win, if similar business can co exist in indian market but in India how many people will order in swiggy and zomato on same day?
