Mark makes every place he visits an adventure, not only with the food, but the historical aspect as well... Keep doing you, Mark, all the best to you, and your beautiful family!
The faces that you make each time you taste those dishes just make my days! Thanks for posting so many nice videos... Looking forward to the next one...
I think the toasted coconut that you mentioned in the rendang is what we called 'kerisik'. Grated coconut is toasted in a pan until browned. Then it is pounded using mortal and pestle to release its oil. An essential ingredient in cooking rendang. And another great video, Mark! Glad you enjoyed Malaysian dishes.
Hi Mark, I appreciate your camera work. I would suggest you put together a half hour video touring regional cuisine somewhere, and pitch it to CNN or a food and travel network. (or maybe you already have). That expression of pure ecstasy when you eat something wonderful is priceless. Thanks again.
That laksa/rojak stall had a sign given by the TV food review show Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan. it showed that the food by that stall should be very tasty and recommended. Greetings from Malaysia!
Thank you so much Mark (& Team as applicable) for posting another blessedly awesome video! Very interesting! 🫶🏼🦐🦑🪶🌞 I pray wonderful blessings for everyone and everything everywhere…thank you all Divine Beings of love and light and thank U, Universe! Love y’all! 🤠
Really enjoyed your vlog ! I have to say I'm Malaysian but did not know there are so much great things to eat and do in langkawi. Will definitely go to langkawai in my next vacation list! Thanks for your great video again! Cheers!
Just a tip mark. When you try out the food you can actually see if you like it or not, when you’ve just tasted something and you like it you react way faster and when you don’t like something you studder and don’t really know what to say, btw this is a positive comment, keep posting cool series like this one👍🏽
You're really friendly , giving positive comments on food you ate . All food tastes good to you . not even a single complaint . haha . a good way not to hurt others' feelings just because of different eating cultures . love your videos and your smile :D
Hi Mark and ying... The laksa you are having was origin from Perlis... The Pasembur was from Penang. I would like to suggest you to come to Northern Part and East coast of Malaysia to Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Kelantan... The best food in Malaysia origin form there.
