Watching the curry sauce coat the rice at the beginning was so satisfying that it made both me and mikey whimper.

"Tastes like somebody milked a cow that's been wandering a rose garden for 20 years" I didnt know until you said it, but you've just described my ideal beverage
😂
Rose milk?
@@ZombieLeo94 Condesnsed milk and grenadine and lots of ice
going to tell my son that, he drinks it daily.
Mike Chen low key has the spice tolerance of a volcano no cap
I would happily challenge mikey to a chilihead contest. I think it might be a toss up, but it would be fun.
Vicmgt Racer faxxx
@Kermit of Rivia Is he really? That's awesome lol
@@redhoot739 i think its a joke,he look like it😂
Redhoot Nah. But a lot of people confuse him with Jackie, he got tired of correcting them so he just started saying Jackie is his uncle.
Im singaporean but Im following Mike recommendation. Mike did it.
Im going to say this when someone ask why I dont drink
*I dont do hangovers*
*I only do food comas*
A glass of red wine every once in a while is actually good for you
@@jjslater83 its actually ONE glass a day that is good for you...only ONE glass...more than one you lose the benefits.... :/
edit: also i know from experience you can't just save them all up and do 7 glasses in one day ;)
You only get hangovers when you stop
@@wed3k that isn't true at all, hangovers are from lack of water, it's all about hydration
Yeah me too.... 😁😁
I am not able to travel, so I live my enjoyment of food, through you. The way you describe all the dishes, from around the world, I can almost taste it. Thank you so much.
Love how you go to so many different countries and try each countries national foods. Btw I've only been watching you for 3 months now and ur one of my favourite CZcamsrs.
awwww thanks Roxy!
I second that! He cheers up my day each time!
Anyone else think it's crazy how Mikey seems to eat everything in PERFECT proportions? He always eats a full bowl with like one element in each bite and never seems to be left with extra anything. Proper master of eating!
Singapore, a country with cool sites and good food. I can handle the spice
Avery the Cuban-American actually almost every food here comes with spicy or non spicy. Just inform the Chef your preference accordingly.
May I know where is the Sarawak kolo mee located?thank you
^ Haig road market & food centre
And coconut! Don't forget the Laksa!
And mikey is still scratching the surface of the singapore food experience we need a after 9pm series
Haha he shld do a collab with food king

🌸 I clicked on vid just to live vicariously through Mike 😋
I don’t know how he can eat all those spices and not have southern issues lol
I love the clay pot rice but the wait is so long...Singaporean here.
U shd try the steam fish head with bean paste sauce and chee cheong fun with yam cake at this place as well.
This episode was great everyone could afford these foods and they look 👀 delicious 😋
7:50 its called Mee Rebus or direct translation is "boiled noodles"
this version seems to use shrimp/prawn as part of its base and they added mutton bits.
usually it potato starch to thicken the gravy, but it also uses salted soybean paste.
that potato cutlet is usually fried..
As a Malaysian, I love Mee Rebus!
I've always enjoyed watching the Magical Disappearing Random People in the background of your videos.
Wanna see how I did the magic trick?

There are lots of nice and not too expensive food in Singapore to explore.
I love that Mikey loves trying new foods through out the day, however at the end of the day he usually ends it with the comfort Chinese foods.
idc tho
I am from Singapore and watching you eat that claypot rice made me laughed so much because you used the ladle as your spoon!! 😂😂 Welcome to Singapore, again and again!

I wish I could travel everywhere and eat food all the time for a living... You are living the best life my dude!
mike was given a larger spoon to scoop the rice from the claypot bowl into a smaller bowl to eat but he just straight up used the big spoon to eat directly from the claypot hAHHA amazing stuff 🤣have fun in Singapore!
I burst out laughing when he ate straight from the serving spoon lolz hahaha
The more I see of Singapore the more I want to visit.
I love that you had putu piring ♡. There is so much more food that need to be showcased in Singapore besides chilli crab, chicken rice or Chinese food. That noodle dish is a Malay dish called Mee Rebus with a Begedil, a delicious fried potato patty.
I love begedil so much >
Begedil is the best
Rockstar Eater probably nowhere
@@RockstarEater Its hard to find because its actually light dishes or 'kuih' in Malaysian, try search for 'kuih' food stall or store there
Mike’s looking pretty well-rested for the first time in a while. He’s always looked quite lethargic but he looks fresher here and seems more energetic too. Good to see!
3 words, Singapore public transport
Me looking at my bowl of cereal while watching you eat all this glorious food 😒🥺😭
Every time I watch his videos, I cook instant ramen. It's a curse. 😂

Always LOVE Mike's food video.. his expression...HAHAHA! Especially so with the claypot rice... food coma. This guy knows his food. Trust him! This IS one of the better claypot rice places in Singapore.
"I'm just gonna use the giant spoon" That's the only way to live life, Mikey!
Claypot rice my favourite whenever i go to Singapore its a must have
Love your videos, thank you for always brightening my day! 💗
So sweet that people buy you food so that you can enjoy and show us the good stuff!
Thank u. This give me idea as to where to have a food trip in Singapore specially I am on solo back packing
There are plenty of good food here in Singapore. After all Singapore is all about eating actually, we absolutely love food so you can find foods fr op m different countries here. 🤤🤤🤤
I realize more and more people are just giving Mikey food
watching your videos makes me happy and more motivated to do things, i dont know what it is but seeing you visit all these places and enjoy different cultures and foods really inspires me to do more in my life
When Mike tells me to take it easy with the condiments... I listen 💜
I lived in Singapore for about a year for work. My experience living there was that eating at hawker centers for your meals was cheaper than eating food that you've cooked for yourself using groceries. But I agree with Mike that living there can be a bit expensive, but the food is affordable and just super delicious.
I lived in singapore for 12 years and i really missed the food out there, i mean food of paradise and authentic taste that i cannot find anywhere, anyway i am now here in middle east sort of biryani everywhere🙄watching mickey's vlog made me more craving singaporeans meals.
singapore and its food....u cant go wrong with these 2...thank u for taking me down to memory lane.....keep the videos coming
The new editing style is awesome! Love the closeups and slowmos,🤤🤤🤤
Miss this lovely country 😍😍😍
I can’t wait for one day to travel and experience the food you eat 🤤☺️😋

I’m gonna be waiting for that giveaway now. Those chopsticks were adorable.

I loved everything you ate from the pork & noodles to the curry noodles 🍝 and the clay pot rice it all looks just divine and those Panda 🐼 chopsticks 🥢 are adorable hehe ..love you Mikey your channels are amazing 😍❤️...x
bro I love you .. so much variety and always trying out new stuff also the amount of places you it makes your videos/vlogs very special to me ..
i am following you on instagram for a while, love the honest and down-to-earth view you have on life. it makes my day
Omg
That clay pot rice look so yummy ❤️
14:07 That burnt rice on the bottom of the rice pot must have tasted like heaven. I'm gonna dream about that until I stop my ketogenic diet.
I am from Spain and my favorite part of the Paella is the crispy burnt rice on the sides and bottom
Im from phillippines and i also love paella :v because we do have here also, which our spanish ancestors brought
My best friend is from Iran, and they call that burnt bottom of the rice "tahdig", which is truly one of the best parts of Persian cuisine. I love that so many different cultures incorporate burnt rice into their dishes; it's delicious in every language! 😊
Can you explain what is so special from that burnt rice, cause i try it twice and i never like it. It hard (not crispy like cracker), taste awful, and the texture ugghh
@@panjirizki2976: it's difficult to explain. I think you either like burnt food or you don't. I like the crunch and the nutty, toasty flavor of burnt rice. I must say though that I like it cooked to a very dark brown color, not to black.
@@panjirizki2976 The only thing I know is that I love it, can't tell you why.
I've got to try clay pot rice now. Thanks for taking us with you on your travels!
Welcome to Singapore. Yes that famous claypot chicken rice is my favourite and I frequent that stall v often.
There’s a really good claypot rice at holland village! Called new lucky claypot rice. It is amazeballs
Great video mike, made me miss singapore so much! I was really hoping you would try the fresh squeezed sugar cane juice with lemon, it's the most refreshing thing on a hot humid day!!! By far my FAVORITE drink in singapore
yo mom hot and humid she got the wap
I love how you describe things!
Nice to see a FoodTuber venture beyond chicken rice and chilli crab in Singapore!
That claypot rice was gorgeous!!! Did you really eat with the mixing spoon Mikey😂😂😂👍👍
Shoveling food into one's mouth with the giant spatula must be so satisfying HAHA
My mouth is watering....
I love how you describe how things taste. You are a legend 😊😊
Great episode, loved your energy 😀
Hi Mike! I'm from Singapore and I really enjoyed this video! If you really enjoyed the Kolo Mee then I suggest you visit Kuching, Sarawak in Malaysia, it's where Kolo Mee comes from, and there's also Sarawak Laksa.
cap boi
I can’t wait for this lockdown to end so that I can travel
If I tried the food you're eating in the video the way you describe the taste and texture of the food is so accurate must give you a thumbs up for that
The clay pot rice looks amazing!
14:43 locals use the ladle to scoop into a small bowl, this dude straight up eats from the ladle
Ya, right ! The ladle is for customers to stir and mix the ingredients... then we use normal spoon to eat... 😀
This dude needs to be in rewind!
OMG!!! Bandung! One of the things I miss in singapore.
Been watching your food adventures for a few weeks. Really like your content. Keep doing what your doing :).
“No hangover, only food coma” YOU SHOULD MAKE THAT A MERCH MIKEY
Was thinking the exact same thing!
I’d buy
The next time you’re back you need to try some nonya food as well
Nonya food is expensive
Luv your show! thanks for sharing.
Singapore having lockdown so ..... looking at your videos and can literally taste those food.... gosh i miss Mee Rebus.
it’s sauce is made with peanuts mainly actually..... I miss all the food.....
This man is my food husband! He truly knows how to eat 😭👏🏾
Try Kway Chap next time, large pieces of flat rice noodles in braised soup, with accompanied dishes of braised pork belly, intestines, eggs, tofu, peanuts, preserved vegetables and some stall with braised duck as well. Bet you'll love the spicy chilly sauce that comes with them.
That is my all time favourie.
That saúde over rice.... Só satisfying!!
Your channel keeps getting better and better....keep it up!! I like the longer videos
Love how you stood beside the Michelin starred chicken rice shop and recommended the claypot rice hahaha! In all honesty, hawker chan did not live up to the hype for me, lots of other places serving tastier and cheaper chicken rice which I'm sure you've discovered :)
I kept hearing this but tried Hawker Chan anyway & honestly I thought it was very good 🤔🤷♀️. I take all 'hype' with a grain of salt, might have gotten them on a good day (and made sure I went to the original location), but it was one of the best soy chicken noodles (with pork) I ate & I'd still recommend it 😄
Singapore again 👍👍👍
Love Mikey’s description for Bandung. Like someone milked a cow that’s been wandering around in a rose garden for 20 years. Great!!
Idk why but I didn’t even realize you had an Instagram! Thank you for stating in the video. Now I can get updated on where you’re going and what videos to look forward to. Side note- those bunny chopsticks are so cute :3
I've never tried clay pot rice but I've wanted to for years now :O
I'm with you Mike. I love hot tea. It's so soothing .The chopsticks are adorable. I told my daughter a few weeks ago I was going to get myself some. My right side no longer works properly and I haven't mastered chopsticks with my left hand.I love the crispy rice at the bottom of a clay pot however, I don't like sweet soy sauce much 😝🤣🥢🥰
You are now one of my favorite food blogger...loveyah mike
Man I love your videos! Keep them coming!
