I too love my LCI M5 and plan to keep it for awhile. I am not too crazy about the new 5 series look; maybe the M5 will look better. Also, BMW has watered down the full M vehicles. The new X1 M35i has quad pipes and seats like full M vehicles; no longer special anymore.

As an overall package, its better value too than all the competitors. You get more performance and all the latest tech for less than an E63S/etc...

My brother in Christ, the e63s performs better than the m5, also, both sedans are still using last gens infotainment layout. Don't know what you're talking about. Lol
@@hagaras82030 Both cars are great, love all V8s. But M5 wins most drag races. Last gen infotainment is still pretty good in both cars, and you're not buying them to sit there playing with a touch screen all day, you want to enjoy the drive/etc... which both cars do very well.

5 series is the BEST!!!
Two things surprise me with cars. First is that this cars interior is basically the same layout since 2012. No knock on bmw every manufacturer does this. Second is this car will cost you around 170k canadian if bought new. That price is literally insane. I’m more of a value guy and would rather buy a slightly used one with around 20000km for 120k. Yea it won’t be an lci but you can spend another 8-10k and update the lights and bumpers, make it look like a 2021. Either way cars like this lose a lot of value better to let someone else take a big hit and buy second hand.

You forgot to mention that the LCI comes with a suspension upgrade taken from the M8. I bought mine used with 13k km for 142 plus tax.
Ppl who buy these cars usually have a few other expensive cars, buying used is for broke people.

Can you tell if this one is Midnight Sapphire or Ruby Black or Frozen Black?
Anything Frozen BMW is matte in color. This is most likely a Black Sapphire Metallic. I own the same model/color. Kind of hard to tell wether its flat black or metallic from a video.

If money is a consideration at all of course 550. Also the m550 is noticeably more comfy when you’re not trying to drive the pants off the car. Personally I’d be happy with the m550 (granted I can’t afford an M5)
If you live in the US (or any other speed restricted country) go 550. Plenty enough.
It's a curse! I am presently working on trading my 2020 M550i bluestone metallic exterior, moccha interior( 30,000 miles) for a 2023 M5 Competition. Yes! The $ is crazy, but once you get the fever with the 523HP, you just want more.😨

150k for subtle, come on man. Too subtle in my personal opinion. BMW has forced me to look elsewhere and that sucks, I've owned a couple of BMW's now looking at E63/RS7

Still looks the same, when you see a M5, you know that it's a M5. Very good performer, but give me the CTS V or the CT5 Blackwing, different in looks and 3.7 seconds is still very fast, you'll never use all of the power that these cars have anyways. Would be excited if I won a M5, but if I could afford an expensive car, I'd rather go American and get the CT5 Blackwing and spend half of the money for still very good performance. I drove behind a regular Cadillac CT5 yesterday and it was still very fast, the Blackwing?? Holy cow, how fast that car must be
