100% how they got winners to come back was them pitching it as a season with no bottoms, no real negative critiques, you get to stay on the entire season (so money spent on outfits don't go to waste), and double the cash prize. Which makes complete sense tbh. This was the best way to preserve their legacies and still keep it entertaining/competitive with this new blocking aspect.
There was also no suitcase limit from what I heard! So they could bring as much drag as their little hearts desired! I think that was probably a huge selling point too.

Oh, deff just my opinion lol. I thought it was pretty clear I was just saying that in jest and just speculating - although I do still stand by what I said to a degree. At the very least I'm 99.9 % sure they knew no one was going home. It would be bad for the winner's legacy (like, why as a winner would you risk all of this only to go home first?) and bad for the DR brand as whole to eliminate winners.

This was an excellent intro! The format is also fantastic! They normally read in the first episode, I think, given they know each other already from previous seasons so it is still unprepared reads.
I think they know in advance who to expect so that they can prepare (or atleast that's what i heard).

With this format, Violet Chachki can literally just show up every episode to do the runway, and I'll be rooting for her anyway. She can sleep in main challenges, idc. We need her back.
