Very good description, just few corrections. Lord Hanuman didn't have an army, the army was that of Sugriv, who was the king of land of vanars called Kishkindha. Shri Ram(a human avatar of Lord Vishnu) helped Sugriv regain his land from his brother and in return Sugriv helped Shri Ram in the battle of Ramayan. Also, the batte wasn't for the crown, it was to rescue Shri Ram's wife Mother Sita.

I am a Sanaatani ( a follower of the Hindu way of life ). First of all, Raam did not fight for the crown, he fought to bring back his wife from Raavan who kidnapped her. And Hanuman is not 'Monkey God' - he is 'Vaanar' ( Van = Forest, Nar = Man ). So we can say that he was from a different species of human beings. Just because he had a tail it does not prove that he was a monkey. Also, monkey has a different word in Sanskrut ( Sanskrit ) and it is called 'Kapi'.

Unexpectedly, when Subali and Sugriwa plunged into the lake, it caused them to turn into wanara. Dewi Anjani also experienced changes in her face and hands because she used the lake water to wash her face. Finally, to remove the curse, Dewi Anjani, resi Subali, and Sugriwa were advised by their father (resi Gautama) to do tapa brata/meditation. In the case of Dewi Anjani, the process of asceticism brought blessings because apart from removing the curse, this event caused her to be appointed as Batara Guru's wife and move to kahyangan maniloka/swargaloka. For resi/begawan Subali and Sugriwa, they have an equally important task. Namely killing Mahesasura and Lembusura (raksasa). Due to a misunderstanding when fighting Mahesasura and Lembusura, the two brothers became enemies (Subali and Sugriwa). Finally, their dispute was resolved by Rama. Addition (Ramayana): Resi Subali previously taught the ajian Pancasona (ajian = mantra) to Rahwana which made Rahwana very powerful (sakti mandraguna). At first, Rahwana was a very pious sage/resi/begawan, but because Rahwana was possessed by Sanghyang Rancasan (the eldest son of Sanghyang Tunggal who was the older brother of Batara Guru), he turned evil which in the end caused him to kidnap Dewi Sinta (wife of Rama Wijaya). After Rahwana was defeated by Rama Wijaya, he (Rahwana) was imprisoned between two mountains, namely Sundara-Sundari until the end of time. Hanoman was assigned by his father (Batara Guru) to look after Ravana who was confined between the two mountains until the end of time. This story is taught in the Sundanese language/base Sundanese curriculum in the area of West Java, Indonesia. As for the Indian version, I don't know. Addition: Thus, it is believed that he (together with Rahwana who was imprisoned) is still alive today. This story is told in the area of Sunda, West Java, and is preserved even though this province has the largest number of Muslims in Indonesia. This story, together with the story of wayang purwa/purwacarita, and Aji Saka/Ajivaka (the ancestors of the Sundanese and Javanese from Kali Serayu/Bumi Majeti) are taught in schools. Apart from that, the story of Ramayana, especially about Hanoman was often broadcast on national TV in the 2000s after the story of Wanara Sakti Sun Go Kong/Journey to the West. I don’t know what God it was that I saw but when I was 15 years old, I ate 6 1/2 g of mushrooms, and eventually all the walls turned into monkey faces, the floor turned into lion faces, and eventually I went outside and the moon turned into a monkey and it talk to me and told me to go back inside by my name and I kept seeing this monkey god throughout the night. A stairway to heaven opened up on the wall that resembled the pearly gates, and I ran into the wall because it looked and felt so real and someone told me later on that they believe this was the god that I saw. Keep in mind I had no idea of any monkey God or of any other deities that resemble a monkey at the time in any way shape or form. To this day I think about that trip and how other worldly it was.
Hanuman is a split part of shiva's consciousness. Just like lord Rama and lord Krishna all are the human incarnations of lord Vishnu. When gods reincarnate into our earth realm they send their part of the consciousness to balance the good and evil.

And Hanuman is not 'Monkey God' - he is 'Vaanar' ( Van = Forest, Nar = Man ). So we can say that he was from a different species of human beings. Just because he had a tail it does not prove that he was a monkey. Also, monkey has a different word in Sanskrut ( Sanskrit ) and it is called 'Kapi'.

Menurut versi Sunda (Jawa Barat), Hanoman adalah anak dari Dewi Anjani dengan Batara Guru/Sanghyang Nilakanta/Sanghyang Pasupati/Sanghyang Jagadnata/Sanghyang Trinetra/Sanghyang Girinata/Sanghyang Caturboja.
Diceritakan bahwa pada saat Dewi Anjani bertapa dibawah air terjun, Batara Guru merasa kasihan dan menjatuhkan sehelai daun asem. Tak disangka, daun ini termakan oleh Dewi Anjani yang menyebabkannya hamil.
Akhirnya Dewi Anjani melahirkan Hanoman, diajak pergi ke swargaloka oleh Batara Guru, dan Hanoman diasuh oleh anak Batara Guru yang ketiga, yaitu Batara Bayu. Akhirnya, Hanoman disebut dengan Bayusuta.
Mengenai asal mula wanara, ini disebabkan oleh tragedi Cupumanik Astagina. Sebuah mustika dari Batara Indra yang diberikan kepada Dewi Indradi (istri resi/begawan Gautama) yang mampu menyebabkan pemakainya dapat melihat seluruh penjuru alam.
Pusaka ini diperebutkan oleh Subali, Sugriwa, dan dewi Anjani sehingga akhirnya pusaka ini dibuang oleh resi Gautama ke telaga Sumala.
Tak disangka, pada saat Subali dan Sugriwa menceburkan diri ke dalam telaga, itu menyebabkan mereka berubah menjadi wanara. Dewi Anjani juga mengalami perubahan wajah dan tangan karena menggunakan air telaga itu untuk bercuci muka.
Akhirnya untuk menghilangkan kutukan tersebut, Dewi Anjani, resi Subali, dan Sugriwa disarankan oleh ayah mereka (resi Gautama) untuk melakukan tapa brata/semedi.
Untuk kasus Dewi Anjani, proses tapa brata ini mendatangkan berkah karena selain menghilangkan kutukan, peristiwa ini menyebabkan ia diangkat menjadi istri dari Batara Guru dan pindah ke kahyangan maniloka/swargaloka.
Untuk resi Subali dan Sugriwa, mereka memiliki tugas yang tak kalah penting. Yaitu membunuh raksasa Mahesasura dan Lembusura. Karena kesalahpahaman pada saat melawan Mahesasura dan Lembusura, kedua kakak beradik ini bermusuhan (resi Subali dan Sugriwa). Akhirnya, perselisihan mereka diselesaikan oleh Rama.
Resi Subali sebelumnya mengajarkan ilmu Pancasona kepada Rahwana yang menyebabkan Rahwana dangat sakti mandraguna. Pada awalnya, Rahwana adalah resi/begawan yang sangat soleh namun karena Rahwana dirasuki oleh Sanghyang Rancasan (anak tertua Sanghyang Tunggal yang merupakan kakak dari Batara Guru), ia berubah menjadi jahat yang pada akhirnya menyebabkan ia menculik Dewi Sinta (istri dari Rama Wijaya).
Setelah Rahwana dikalahkan oleh Rama Wijaya, ia (Rahwana) dijepit diantara dua gunung, yaitu Sundara-Sundari hingga akhir jaman. Hanoman ditugasi oleh ayahnya (yaitu Batara Guru) untuk menjaga Rahwana yang dikurung diantara dua gunung itu hingga akhir jaman.
Kisah ini diajarkan dalam kurikulum bahasa Sunda/basa Sunda di daerah Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Untuk versi India, saya tidak tahu.

A mustika from Batara Indra that was given to Dewi Indradi (wife of resi/begawan Gautama) which is able to make the wearer able to see all corners of the world. This heirloom was fought over by Subali, Sugriwa, and Dewi Anjani so that in the end this heirloom was thrown by the resi Gautama into the Sumala lake.
Unexpectedly, when Subali and Sugriwa plunged into the lake, it caused them to turn into wanara. Dewi Anjani also experienced changes in her face and hands because she used the lake water to wash her face.
Finally, to remove the curse, Dewi Anjani, resi Subali, and Sugriwa were advised by their father (resi Gautama) to do tapa brata/meditation.
In the case of Dewi Anjani, the process of asceticism brought blessings because apart from removing the curse, this event caused her to be appointed as Batara Guru's wife and move to kahyangan maniloka/swargaloka. For resi/begawan Subali and Sugriwa, they have an equally important task. Namely killing Mahesasura and Lembusura (raksasa).
Due to a misunderstanding when fighting Mahesasura and Lembusura, the two brothers became enemies (Subali and Sugriwa). Finally, their dispute was resolved by Rama.
Addition (Ramayana):
Resi Subali previously taught the ajian Pancasona (ajian = mantra) to Rahwana which made Rahwana very powerful (sakti mandraguna).
At first, Rahwana was a very pious sage/resi/begawan, but because Rahwana was possessed by Sanghyang Rancasan (the eldest son of Sanghyang Tunggal who was the older brother of Batara Guru), he turned evil which in the end caused him to kidnap Dewi Sinta (wife of Rama Wijaya).
After Rahwana was defeated by Rama Wijaya, he (Rahwana) was imprisoned between two mountains, namely Sundara-Sundari until the end of time.
Hanoman was assigned by his father (Batara Guru) to look after Ravana who was confined between the two mountains until the end of time.
This story is taught in the Sundanese language/base Sundanese curriculum in the area of West Java, Indonesia. As for the Indian version, I don't know.

Thus, it is believed that he (together with Rahwana who was imprisoned) is still alive today.

I don’t know what God it was that I saw but when I was 15 years old, I ate 6 1/2 g of mushrooms, and eventually all the walls turned into monkey faces, the floor turned into lion faces, and eventually I went outside and the moon turned into a monkey and it talk to me and told me to go back inside by my name and I kept seeing this monkey god throughout the night. A stairway to heaven opened up on the wall that resembled the pearly gates, and I ran into the wall because it looked and felt so real and someone told me later on that they believe this was the god that I saw.
Keep in mind I had no idea of any monkey God or of any other deities that resemble a monkey at the time in any way shape or form.
To this day I think about that trip and how other worldly it was.
