The effects are really impressive, I’ve always been impressed with the Sentai series how they handled puppetry and live actors, it was leagues ahead in many ways compared to puppetry in the US. They could pretty much almost do whatever they wanted and it shows, clearly the show runners took a lot of inspiration from the Godzilla films, as well as inventing their own techniques.

Man, Daijinryuu is a lot like Godzilla in DaiRangers. Both are indestructible forces of nature that are neither good or evil. Their very existence is hard to comprehend. Neither have allegiances to either side of the fight. But above all else, they just don't give a single fuck about anything.

The main difference is that Daijinryuu is programmed to stop overdone fights. Goji is just an animal that goes after things that anger him (or at least he's supposed to be).
The "Neutral Force of Balance" side is actually an interesting concept for Sentai series. Daijinryuu not being a pure evil monster while also capable of destroying cities makes him a force to be reckoned with for either parties. It's a shame that it got watered down so badly by Saban's Power Rangers 🗿
To be fair Dairanger didn't do the best job with handling Daijinryuu either. After the first encounter you'd think that the rangers would try their best to not fight, knowing full well that Daijinryuu would come back and finish the job but nope it was business as usual like Daijinryuu never arrived until it comes back again for the second time and they still don't register the threat even after that and act like business as usual.

Daijinryuu is neither Good nor Evil. It was a Giant Dragon created by the Universe Itself to maintain balance in each Cosmos. However, Dairanger and Gouma War has disturb the Balance, and so the Neutral face of Universe come to destroy the Earthling, Dairanger, & Gouma itself if they don't stop the Fighting. Not just that, Daijinryuu doesn't take side, he doesn't reluctant to kill Humans if needed. It was all to maintain the Balance of the Universe.
If they ever bring Serpentera into the new live-action movie series, I hope they give him THIS origin story. Serpentera/Daijinryuu really seems more interesting as a "force of balance" rather than a "super war machine built by Lord Zedd".
I honestly think the Reboot of power rangers was a good thing now. After recently watching all the super sentai and all that stuff. having the new Rebooted film gives it a bit more originality. I also do hope they put Serpenttera or god dragon in the movie.

Serpentera is big, but not THAT big. In Dairanger Episode 38, there’s an establishing shot which shows him at eye level with the top of Tokyo Tower, which would put him at just under 350 meters tall. (This footage doesn’t appear in the U.S. series - for obvious reasons.) Other evidence of his size is shown when he steps on Pachinko Head in the same episode - Pachinko’s height is close to the same length as his foot. With that being said, his size is somewhat inconsistent and changes a bit - there are definitely scenes where he seems much larger.
I like the fact, that Daijinryuu design was based on Azure Dragon. One of chinese mythology creatures. Also his roars is far different than Serpentera.

No.. In Dairanger, Daijinryu is on another side.. He attacks both Gorma & Dairanger... He even attacks the HQ of Gorma & provides damage on it ... 😃
All for the case of balance.
Not really for DaiJimRyuu is neutral whose duty is to protect the balance of the universe which is why he attacks the Gorma and Dairanger for their constant fighting.
